Sonora's POV:
I stared into the darkness with empty thoughts
I didn't care anymore
I had already accepted my faith
I was going to die and nothing would change that
Nothing can change that
as I continued to stare I heard footsteps
and a man emerged from the darkness
That man was Alexios
I stared at him blankly
was he here to finally end my miserable life?
was he here to torture me?
maybe he was here to do a bit of both
"People came to me and said they saw you roaming the area last night"

"They saw you attack their fellow wolves"

"you killed, them why did you do it?"
silence
"ANSWER ME!!"
ah that was what I was waiting for
"kill me Alexios," I said while staring into his eyes
"your people said I killed them I suggest u take their word after all I'm just a lowlife Vermin with no purpose"
"you would never believe a Vermin over your own kind right"
"RIGHT!" I shouted the chains rattling with my sudden movement

"I suggest you don't ask me any more questions if you're here to kill me kindly do so and let's get over this interrogation mhm"

"and if you aren't here to kill me leave so the poison can marinate and I can die in"

"you didn't kill them," he said quietly and my heart stopped

"How did you come to that conclusion," I said shakily
"you didn't kill them"
"but what if I did huh you're gonna let a killer like me get away with killing the people you rule the people you promise to protect!" I said tears streaming down my face
he gave me one last look before walking away
"NO PLEASE NO KILL ME PLEASE!" I screamed those words at the back of his head
"ALEXIOS YOU COWARD FINISH THE FUCKING JOB" I screamed once more
I sat in the middle of the cell and sobbed
I was a mess
I closed my eyes letting the tears fall freely
suddenly I heard my cell open
I reopened my eyes to see Alexios fiddling with the chains
"What are you doing?" I asked confused
the chains were ripped off and my sore hands went limp by my side
"get up," he said hovering over me
"no I won't," I said with more tears streaming down
"get up Sonora," he said once again but stronger in tone
"why won't you let me die why do you want me to suffer in this lifetime" I said while sobbing and sobbing
suddenly I was in a warm embrace and I sobbed even more
"I won't let you die Sonora I won't" he whispered in my ears
"please please I don't want to live anymore," I said while trying to escape his embrace
"shh it's going to be okay"
he was comforting me
Alexios held me in his arms rubbing up and down on my back
whispering calm words in my ears
his arms felt like home
everything I've longed for
it felt like everything I've ever needed was with him
been held by him for a few minutes felt like an eternity to me
he released me from his hold and the coldness of the situation I was in washed over me
he looked like he was taken aback by his actions
he immediately returned to his cold face
I just cannot deal with him being bipolar
"get up," he said with unhositilty
I was familiar with his switches but this one stung just a little bit
But it irritated me much more
"No, I won't I get up and follow you out I get treated the same way over and over again I rather stay in here a rot to nothingness"
"I just cannot understand you, you were just here comforting me while I sobbed into your arms and now you're back to that cold persona no I won't allow you to treat me like someone you can pity then after a while you're back to throwing stones at me"
"So leave me be," I said as I stared into his emotionless eyes
He looked at me for a couple of seconds then turned his back and walked out
I watched as his tall frame disappeared from my view and I lay on the cold hard floor curled up into a ball
Death was creeping in closer
it was so close I could feel someone with the tip of the dagger marking an x across my heart.
