The Green Dragon was carrying Ziwei and the White Tiger through the air while listening to the story.
Suddenly, Ziwei stopped telling the story and the Green Dragon asked impatiently, "Is the story over?"
"Not yet! The view from the sky is so beautiful! I'm too busy looking at the view and enjoying the warm sunshine, so let me think, where was I earlier?" Ziva closed her eyes to gather her thoughts.
"You told earlier about Moses being saved by the Egyptian princess, Moses became the adopted son of the Egyptian princess and his birth mother became Moses' nurse, I love that story, Ziwei, can you continue?" The white tiger urged Ziwei to say.
Ziwei then proceeded to tell the story of reincarnation from long ago, "Later, Moses heard many stories about the history of the Israelites from his birth mother, and Moses knew the traditions of his people as a child and began to believe in God religiously.
Moses was saddened at the time to see all the mistreatment those poor Israelites were subjected to, and in my opinion: all people on earth deserve equal treatment and power, no matter what race they are.
More fortunately: reincarnated as Moses, I became the adopted son of an Egyptian princess and I was educated by the Egyptian royal family in the royal palace. Egypt, at that time, had become a great civilisation and my adopted mother, the Egyptian princess, treated me very well, as she had many learned men as my teachers. These learned men taught me all kinds of knowledge, so that as a young man I was not only well versed in all the learning and talents of the Egyptian royal family and beyond, but I also learned from my adopted mother, the Egyptian princess, all kinds of manners in speaking and doing things.
I was very much loved by the Egyptian Pharaoh and Princess, and perhaps this was all due to God's wonderful arrangement and making, for I had lived between the Israelites and the Egyptian royal family, and I admired my foster mother and the Egyptian Pharaoh, and I was grateful for their love and nurturing of me, but at the same time I felt the hard life of those poor underclass people of Israel and some of the injustices they encountered. I believe that every nation should be treated equally.
Then I saw many times that many Hebrews and Israelites were being bullied, and I no longer wanted to stay in the Egyptian royal family and continue to enjoy my life of nobility. I gradually developed a desire to give the Israelites their national freedom.
Then came the second stage of my life: between the ages of 40 and 80, I went to the wilderness of Midian to herd sheep.
And so I slowly went from the simple life of shepherding sheep to realising that I should become the leader of the Israelite nation and give them their own culture, their own faith! I believe it was also God's plan that He wanted to build and train my will and spirit so that I would have the strength of character to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, across the Red Sea, into the wilderness to gain their freedom and build their own civilisation.
The Israelites at that time were not trained and had no one to remind them to awaken and build their national culture, their faith. So God arranged for me to lead them to find their own freedom, their own faith. As a result of my long work as a shepherd, I became a gentle, humble person, able to bear the weight of God's trust. A humble person trusts more in the power of God and is more likely to be in touch with Him. For such a person is willing to obey God's commands in all things!
At that time, I was tending sheep in the wilderness. Not only could I not eat the delicacies of the king's palace, but it was also difficult for me to drink a little water. At first I couldn't get used to it, but gradually I got used to it.
Later, reincarnated as Moses, I married Zipporah, the daughter of a Midianite priest, who means little bird. I lived a simple and quiet life as a shepherd, but my heart never forgot the poor people who suffered so much in the midst of the fire. Moses' first son was named Gershon, which means "to live in", and his second son was named Eliezer, which means "God has helped me". For I have not forgotten my mission.
During this period I kept thinking: Because the Egyptian princess was my adopted mother, I am grateful to the Egyptian royal family, and therefore I cannot allow foreigners to overthrow the Egyptian rule. But I also wanted to help those Israelites by giving them a national faith, a moral culture of their own.
Then came the third period of my life, when I obeyed God and led the people of Israel out of Egypt.
From then on, many miraculous things happened: one day, out of the thorns in the flames, I seemed to see a vision of God, which made me realise the position the Israelites were in at that time, and the suffering they were suffering like the thorns in the flames. At that time, when I wanted to come forward to see the vision, God said, "Do not come near, but take off the shoes from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy ground."
The LORD said, "I have seen the distress of my people in Egypt ... Therefore I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring my people Israel out of Egypt." And God said, "I will be with you!" "I will make you gracious in the sight of the Egyptians!" "I will give you eloquence." ...
And so I obeyed God's instructions: I led the people of Israel out of Egypt, across the Red Sea, through the wilderness, and despite the difficulties, because God was with them, they were able to overcome them and not be consumed by the flames, and all the horrors of the flames became light to shine.
For God had made a covenant with them, promising to bless their descendants, and 400 years later to lead them into Canaan and make them a great nation; and God had prophesied that Jesus Christ would be born in the land of Canaan.
At that time, by God's favour, I was given a walking stick with divine power. When we had no water to drink on the road, God said, "Take the staff and go to ... and command the plates and stones to send forth water." Moses raised his hand and struck the pan stone twice with the staff, and water came out. At that time there were also men leading armies to pursue the Israelites. The LORD said, "When Pharaoh and his armies come after them, then the LORD will be glorified in them."
Those who were fleeing from Egypt at the time saw the Egyptian soldiers coming after them and were terrified, for there was the Red Sea in front of them, an army chasing them behind them, and high mountains on the right and left. While the Israelites were losing faith and making fearful murmurs, the LORD said to Moses, "Lift up your hand and stretch out your staff toward the sea and part the waters ..." I obeyed God's instruction and stretched out my staff toward the sea, and the LORD caused the waters to recede overnight with a great east wind; and the waters parted, and the sea became became dry land. And the Israelites went down into the sea and walked on dry land, and the waters made a wall on their right and on their left.
...
Thus the Israelites, with the help of divine power, crossed the sea all night and escaped safely from Egypt.
At that time Moses led the Israelites from the Red Sea to the wilderness of Shur and walked for three days, unable to find water to drink. When they reached Marah, they found water; but it was bitter and unpalatable, so the people complained. Moses called upon the LORD, who showed him a tree, which he threw into the water, and the water became sweet. This was another miracle, the water was sweetened and the people had their thirst quenched. Then God made a code of laws for them there, teaching them and testing them. Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees; and they encamped there by the waters.
According to the Israelites they went from the Red Sea to the wilderness of Sinai, where they were specially trained by God. And on the first day of the second year they set out again from the wilderness of Sinai to Golgotha, and after the great failure at Golgotha, they turned back from Golgotha for thirty-seven years and eleven months, and then returned to Golgotha; and from Golgotha to the brook Sarai, that is, to the end of their drifting period.
Their food was also given by God, and a month after the Israelites came out of Egypt, they arrived in the wilderness of the flood. The food they had brought out of Egypt was exhausted, so they complained again. When the LORD heard their grumbling, he said to Moses, "I will give you this grain from heaven." The Israelites did not know what this grain from heaven was, so they called it manna, which means, "What is this?" Every morning the manna came down with the dew in sufficient quantity for all the people's needs for forty years.
When Moses ascended Mount Nebo, the LORD showed him the land of Canaan. And the LORD said to him, "Now I have made your eyes to see, but you shall not pass over to it." So I, who was then reincarnated as Moses the servant of the LORD, died in the land of Moab, just as the LORD had foretold. When Moses died, he was one hundred and twenty years old, and his eyes did not faint and his spirit did not fail. The Israelites mourned for Moses in the plains of Moab for thirty days.
This is a brief summary of Moses' life.
Moses' great faith, love, courage, wisdom, humility, patience, constant loyalty to God, love for the people, and a life of sensational deeds were admired."
"Moses lived to be 120 years old!" The White Tiger found this very incredible.
"I am proud of Moses' miracles!" The Green Dragon said.
Ziwei said with emotion, "Yes, Moses' miracle has given some earthlings the faith of God and a spiritual reliance. This experience of reincarnation, although very hard, the appearance of Moses enabled some of the earthlings to read the Pentateuch, observe the Ten Commandments of Moses, renounce evil and promote goodness, and improve their morality and spirituality, so all the hard work put into Moses' reincarnation was worth it! I want the people of Earth to know that although God may reincarnate under different names and identities, the purpose of God's reincarnation is to shed the positive energy of light and love that originates from the Great Creator of the Universe into every corner of the universe. The Great Creator of the Universe, the God of all goodness, is always watching over every living being in the Universe, and every good God will always shine and guide every living being in the Universe with the light and love in his or her body, so that every living being can live in peace and happiness in a beautiful environment of mutual respect, love and assistance ..."
