Chapter 10

 Sam please I'm sorry! Kyle quickly said when he saw her eyes swollen with tears. Instantly, he saw the glistening from the lighting as it trickled down her face and it ached his heart.

It's okay Kyle. Sam said more disgusted at herself than at Kyle.

 Are you still cooking?  She said as she quickly walked away and back into the house towards the kitchen.

Kyle swore under his breath at his impulsiveness. He had no right to do what he did with his manhood to Sam.

 I just have the chicken in the oven for another five minutes Sam but we can begin to plate the mashed potatoes and fresh salad. Kyle said as he followed her into the kitchen.

Several minutes later, they both sat opposite each other eating on a small dining table.

Impressive Kyle, its really good.  Sam said and gave a small smile.

Thanks ….I'm out here most times so I had to learn to cook by force. Thank goodness for technology and for Youtube. Kyle said as he continued to watch Sam closely.

Sam am I making you uncomfortable right now? I'm truly sorry about earlier as I should not have approached you in that manner. He continued.

Kyle it's not you ….it's what could have happened between us at that moment that has frazzled me. Sam said and continued eating without looking up.

It would not have happened if I hadn't pushed myself onto you Sam. I just enjoy being around you so much and the way you looked tonight on the balcony with your hair blowing took my breath away. I promise to restrain myself better around you okay. Well at least until you're ready because it will eventually happen Sam. We both know it! Kyle said as he continued to look at Sam.

He saw a small smile creep across her face and he became relieved and continued to eat. Sam spoke alot about her country, culture and the people. Kyle in turned talked about his work and his hobbies.

When it was time to go Kyle drove her back to her car that was at the park.

You know I would have felt better dropping you at your house instead of here right! Kyle said as he pulled next to her car.

Mr. Smooth you trying to find out where I live? Sam said and laughed.

The napkin needs updating…I left it for you to do. Kyle said as he parked the car and held it in his hand.

Sam looked at it and blinked her eyes several times jokingly,

You make me feel so, so special! You're such a gentleman!  Sam joked and pressed the napkin to her breasts.

Kyle laughed while Sam wrote on the napkin and handed it to him.

Lunch and rides at the Amusement park for next Sunday! Kyle read aloud.

Very well Ms. Chase, I guess I'll pick you up at the park for one! Kyle said and smiled even though deep down he felt like he scared her into not wanting to be with him alone.

Goodnight Kyle, thanks for an eventful evening! Sam said as she skipped out the car and went into her car.

Sam let me get your number please. Kyle shouted as she was about to go into her car.

Check the napkin properly! Sam said and drove off.

Kyle opened the napkin and reread what Sam had written. Then he saw that at the bottom of the napkin, Sam wrote a nine digit number….the last number was left out purposely. Kyle snickered and took out his phone to begin the challenge.
