Kyle left the restaurant and sat in his car for a long time. Sam didn't believed he loved her and now she was leaving. And she was leaving because of what he had done to her. Kyle sat there thinking of ways that he could make this right and have Sam in his life and he didn't know what to do.
He quickly started his car and drove to Joe's bar and when Joe saw him he instantly knew something was awfully wrong with Kyle.
Kyle, What's wrong? Joe asked quickly in a concerned tone when he met his friend at the door.
Sam doesn't believe I love her and she's leaving the country to go back home Joe! What am I going to do? I can't lose her! Kyle said sadly and looked to his friend for advise.
Joe brought him to the bar and poured him a drink.
I'm sorry Kyle but you have to let her go now. This is for the best for both of you. You had your time with her now cut your loses and move on! Joe said sternly.
What if I can't Joe! What if I don't want her out of my life! What if we both just need time together to figure things out and make us work? Kyle asked desperately.
What the hell Kyle, she's made up her mind already. Don't do something that you'll regret okay! I know you, and I know you're not good at letting things go but let her leave and maybe your life will get back to the way it was before. Joe said as he poured another drink.
Maybe I could take a trip with her and she'd understand that Sarah means nothing to me. Kyle replied
Kyle, listen to yourself! You sound like one of those obsessed people who can't let people go. Stop it! It was a fling and now it's over, deal with it! Joe answered
There was a long silence and then the both of them began talking about the football game that was going on and then Kyle left. He went home, showered, packed a bag and then went to his car. He parked outside Sam's house and walked to the door and rang the bell.
Kyle? What are you doing here? Sam asked angrily as she folded her hands over her chest.
You need to know how much I love you Sam. I don't think you understand that you were meant to be with me! I don't care about Sarah, Sam. It's been you since the first day I met you at the restaurant. Kyle confessed
Kyle please, you're engaged to marry another soon. I am sorry for the circumstances you are in with your family and this arranged marriage but we can't be together anymore. You have to go Kyle! Im leaving for the airport shortly. Sam said and attempted to close the door.
Wait! Let me go with you on your trip and you can have my phone. I assure you, no one will call especially Sarah because we're not together. Remember what we had Sam! Kyle pleaded
Kyle, Joe told me about everything! I know you had no say in this matter but I am not getting myself involved in this situation with you and your family. And sure as hell, I'm not going to be your mistress Kyle! Sam answered passionately.
Okay, fine! Let's just have this final vacation together. And when we get back we would go our separate ways! Please Sam? Kyle begged.
Why would I want that? Do you think this between us is a game Kyle? Do you think I'm the whore you called me and can be turned on and off at your convenience? You made me fall in love with you when you knew it was all a lie! Sam said angrily.
I am sorry for calling you that Sam. God knows you're nothing like that! I didn't mean for all this to happen, for me to fall in love with you and vice versa. Please take me with you and show me your country! There's no one I'd rather be with than you! Kyle pleaded desperately.
Sam stood there and looked at the tears that was streaming down Kyle's face and she felt utterly sad for the predicament he was in. She believed he loved her and she knew she loved him.
Fine Kyle, my flight leaves in three hours! If you can get a ticket, you can go along with me! Sam said.
Kyle began smiling broadly as he took out his cellphone and made a call.
Don, we'll be there in half and hour and I want to be up as soon as we arrive. Kyle said and hung up.
I don't need a ticket when I have my private jet already fuelled and waiting at the airport for us as we speak! Kyle said with a devilish smile.
You scamp! You knew I would have given in! I change my mind then, you cannot go along with me. Sam said as teasingly.
Too late, you said yes already. But if you want to travel on a plane with a crowd of coughing people not to mention cring children, well then I'll met you in Trinidad. Kyle said sarcastically.
Good point, then I guess I'll be going on my first private jet flight. Sam said as she walked into the house to retrieve her suitcase. Kyle immediately took it from her when she brought it to the door.
We'll go with my car since I don't have to pay for parking. Kyle said as he walked to his car with her suitcase.
Yes Sir! Sam answered as she locked her house and walked towards the car to meet Kyle who was standing with the passenger door open awaiting her.
