Chapter 43

When Kyle came home, Sam was already at home cooking dinner. When he saw Sam his face lit up and he kissed her roughly.

You look tired, hard day today? Sam asked as she checked the pot on the stove.

Exhausting! I'm going to shower, unless you want to join me for some sexual activities first? Kyle said and raised his eyebrows as he groped Sam

Amm I'll pass only because I just finished a shower and now began cooking.

While Kyle was in the shower, Sam was contemplating whether or not she should mention what happened today at her shop with Sarah. Was it possible that Sarah knew who she was? Sam doubted it and brushed it aside and continued cooking.

Meantime Kyle was in the shower wondering whether he should mention that the wedding would be in six weeks. He knew part of the reason his father expedited the wedding was because of what Sam had said to him  and the other part was Kyle staying with her. As he stood under the shower, he honestly thought that he'd have more time with Sam before he had to get married to Sarah.

Several minutes later Kyle emerged from the bathroom and came to Sam and hugged and kissed her.

Let's eat…I'm hungry! Sam said and laughed when Kyle smacked her ass.

Hey so I hired a trainee today at the shop who's going to do the baking when I'm not there Sam said as they began to eat.

Thats great! So now I can have you more to myself! Kyle said and snickered as he ate

Funny thing though! Sam continued

What's that? Kyle asked as he continued eating but looked at Sam.

Sally, my trainee, was your Sarah, as in your fiance , prior personal maid. And Sarah visited the shop today and made a scene  so I had to unexpectedly throw her out! Sam said

Sam you didn't have to say that Sarah was my fiance, I think I know that! Kyle said in an irritated tone on hearing Sam mention Sarah.

Well I have to state the obvious Kyle as Sarah is your fiance, right? Sam asked in an equally irritated tone assuming he was upset because she thre Sarah out.

Can we not talk about this right now Sam? Kyle said and continued eating.

Fine! Sam said and continued eating also. They ate in silence after that and  avoided speaking to each other for the rest of the night.

The next morning Kyle left before Sam ģot up but he left a note on his pillows saying how sorry he was about last night and blamed it on the hard day's work. Sam got ready and went to work herself.

Sarah I need to talk to you? Kyle asked as he called Sarah on his way to work that morning. He needed to convince Sarah that they had to stand up to their individual parents and both demand that the wedding be postoned to a later late.

Hey Kyle, sure no problem. When? Where? Sarah asked casually

How about Wimbleton at noon? I'll make the reservations! Kyle said as he pulled into work.

Sure, I'll be there! Sarah said

Okay, see you then! Kyle said and ended the conversation.

Sarah was smiling on the other end of the phone because she knew that she wanted to tell Kyle what her expectations were when they got married and he wasn't going to be too happy. A pay back for Sam's rude behavior towards her and for hiring Sally.

Sam on the other hand was relieved that Sally was such a good employee and fast learner. By eleven she was done with all the baking for her shop and a few orders. She called Kyle to see what he was up too and attempted to make up for last night also.

Hey Kyle, I missed you this morning! Sam said

Well I'll have to definitely make up for it! Kyle said in a deep, sexy voice causing a broad smile on Sam's face.

How's your day going? Up for lunch at the park? Sam asked

I'm sorry hun, but I have a meeting at noon. I'll grab something after for lunch! Kyle said and avoided telling Sam it was Sarah he was meeting.

Okay, well I'll see you at home then!  Sam said and they hung up.

And hour later, Sam grabbed her coat and addressed Grace.

I'll be back inna few Grace. I'm going to drop off the cake I baked as a thank you for the Wimbleton staff and grab lunch. Sam said and left the shop with a cake in her hand.

Sam walked through the restaurant doors twenty minutes later and dropped off the cake for the manager and gave her order for her usual meal. When she was walking to her seat to await her order, she saw Kyle sitting with Sarah at the table. She sat down and began reading.

Several seconds later Kyle approached the table and sat down,

Sam its not what it looks like okay! Kyle said when he saw that she avoided looking at him.

Sam continued reading,

I don't know what you're talking about Mr Stephens because you are hard at work in a meeting, remember? Sam said in a low voice.

The waiter arrived with Sam's order and she thanked him. As soon as he left, Sam continued reading.

You should go back to where you're supposedly having a meeting because I supposedly came here to eat alone and enjoy my book. Sam said and began eating without ever looking at Kyle.

Sam don't be like this! Kyle said but Sam continued eating without speaking. After a few minutes, Kyle got up and walked back to Sarah.

After ten minutes, Sam walked away and went home and got very intoxicated and high. Kyle kept ringing her phone but Sam was boiling with anger so she just let it ring and never bothered answering it.
