Chapter 40

Bella drove her car without ever removing her feet from the accelerator. Anger and hurt had set it and it boiled her blood to such an extent she didn't care for her safety. When she was a far distance away, she pulled onto a private road and turned off the car! She cried uncontrollably and screamed loudly for quite a while. She had never felt so cheap and degraded in her entire life.

After some time she dried her face and drank some water from a bottle in her car. She got out and went to the trunk and took out her costume from the bag and threw it on. She went back to the car and checked the phone of the suspicious area that James had spoken about and which Kyle had sent her when they were together at the cabin. Some minutes later she turned locked her car and was flying towards the location.

She searched for several hours until she found the building and after closer inspection she saw the cave. Bella noticed that this place, unlike the rest of buildings, was heavily guarded. She quickly turned invisible and flew down towards the cave and walked inside.

The cave had several floors and in each floor she saw hundreds and hundreds of werewolves training in combative style. She came out and went into the building which wasn't as guarded as much in the inside as the outside, but she knew that she could not simply walk out with Lizzy if she was found without endangering both their lives and her unborn litter.

Bella walked to the first floor and saw many women but not Lizzy. On the second floor however she again saw several women but then she saw a small room. As soon as she walked closer she smelled the scent of wolfbane causing her to remember when she had captured and held Greg at her place to subdue him.

Bella immediately snapped the lock on the door and walked inside and sure enough Lizzy was lying on a cot. She went to her and checked her vitals an realized she was unconscious with a swollen stomach. Bella instantly had an image flash before her of a younger Lizzy bent over her and then another of Lizzy looking down at her while Bella was in her lap in a car. Then she remembered James saying to her that it was Lizzy who had convinced them all to take Bella with them. She walked out of the room and cursed under her breath as she began to check the guards on duty. Bella counted two on the second level that she was on and three more as she went up to the third level leading to the rooftop.

On the rooftop though stood three armed werewolves causing her to walk back down and try to come up with a plan since she could not afford Lizzy getting hurt in her condition nor the other women on the different floors. Bella went back down to the first floor and saw a room with a kitchen. She put on the stove and put up a pot.

She poured oil, from a gallon that was sitting on the floor, into the pot and began to let it hot. She waited several minutes until it began to flame up and began throwing it on the walls which quickly caught fire and walked back to the room where Lizzy was and waited for the alarm to go off.

Sure enough it wasn't long after that the fire alarm sounded and the guards came running down from the several floors to attend to it except the werewolves on the roof. Bella then broke off a solid piece on iron pipe from the room and grabbed some wolfbane from around Lizzy and began walking to the rooftop.

She got the first werewolf that was closest to the rooftop door to come down the step with a whistle and used the iron pipe several times along with wolfbane to weaken him and send the pipe through his heart. The second werewolf however was bigger so Bella had to make herself visible so that he could follow her through the door and as soon as he did Bella struck him hard with the iron pipe but it didn't seem to do him anything.

I'm gonna make you pay for that bitch! The rogue werewolf said as he took of his gun and place it on the floor.

Common baby, I'm in the mood to dish out some pain! Bella said as he ran towards her and they began fighting. Bella felt several blows about her body and one to her face while she was only able to connect a few iron to the werewolf.

Bella felt another slap to her face and this one stung, causing her lips to bleed profusely.

I told you that you were going to pay! The werewolf said as he was regaining his breath.

Please don't flatter yourself! Im sure my mother could hit harder than that! Bella said and began to run up to him.

As soon as she was close enough to the rogue, she quickly turned invisible and sidestepped ans came up from the behind of him and snapped his neck. She turned back invisible and spat the blood from her mouth on him as she went for the pipe and sent it through his heart.

The guards on the bottom floor was almost finished putting out the fire by then so Bella ran back to the room and picked up Lizzy and headed for the rooftop. She instantly put down Lizzy in a comfortable position as not to harm her litter and opened the roof top door, ran onto and jump kicked the remaining guard off the roof.  Bella ran back to Lizzy and gently grabbed her up and took her out the door onto the rooftop. As soon as they were there, she heard the security alarm go off and saw hundreds of rogue soldiers begin to enter the building. Luckily though she had Lizzy in her hands already and flew up straight into the sky.

An hour later she was placing Lizzy in her car. As soon as she rested her in the passenger seat and buckled her up she felt Lizzy squeeze her hand tightly.

It's okay Lizzy, I'm taking you home to Alpha Czar and yur mother Jean. You'll be fine, I'm here to help. Amd Lizzy, thank you for taking care of me also all those years aback. Bella said and felt her hands began to relax. Bella then went around the car and began to drive towards Lizzy's home.

When Bella left moments ago everyone was shocked at what had just taken place.

You fucking stupid arse! Alpha Czar shouted at the frog in Charlie's hand just after Karl had taken a selfie of his face next to Kyle, as a frog.

Everyone's eyes opened in surprise and even the frog croaked,

Not you Charlie, Kyle I mean! Sorry for my language as well. But right about now I could throw some salt on him! Alpha Czar shouted.

Bella was our best chance of finding Lizzy! Look what you did! I swear if you were your normal self, I would have flogged you myself for you insolence towards our family and especially Bella. To hurl such accusations without knowing anything!  The Alpha continued quarelling.

Get him out of my sight please! I can't stand to look at him right now! Czar grumbled.

Give him to me Charlie and let me take him to his room. Jean said still crying silently as she took Kyle away.

What's going on here Karl? How did all this come about? the Alpha shouted at his son.

We always told you that a girl was with us when the asteriod hit. Well Bella was her dad! We did not know though that she was a witch, since we thought she got her superpowers from the impact like us! Remember the woman at the restaurant for you anniversary? Well that was Bella! Karl explained.

After we left her to stay in the city, we met her at a bar. That was the first day we went out looking for information into the uprising. Karl continued

But how could your brother think that  utter foolishness about Bella and worst me? The Alpha asked roughly

Father, none of us knew Bella was an investigator as well as being the one you hired since we were never introduced. Nor did we know about Kyle and Bella. I assume though, that when Kyle saw you both coming from Lizzy and James's place he assumed her being up here on the mountains decades ago and then again with you at Lizzy, as you having her as another mate. It was just a mistake on his behalf father. A simple misunderstanding! Karl continued

So why didn't he just ask me and prevent all this nonsense from happening? Or Bella as a matter of fact since he was sexually active with her? Czar asked

Alpha, it's Kyle! Does anybody ever know what goes on in his mind? Karl answered

And James why didn't we know about Lizzy's condition? Her being pregnant that is? Did you both know? the Alpha said and turned to James scowling.

We had only found out about two weeks before Lizzy was taken Sir. She wanted to surprise everyone at her birthday dinner which is in a few weeks. James answered at once.

What is mess! All because of Kyle and his impulsiveness! I honestly hope that Bella's spell wears off tomorrow or else I don't know what we'll do about him! the Alpha said with genuine concern in his tone

Well should that happen Alpha we could possibly build a pond for him to swim around! Kyle said smirking.  Charlie suddenly began to softly grin and then cleared her throat.

Karl not now! This is no time for your jokes or odd sense of humor! The Alpha shouted

" Father, Bella is a nice person but most importantly she's trustworthy. If she says it will wear off in a day,  then it will. This was quite an unfortunate event which we expect Kyle to rectify when he returns to himself. And Bella won't give up on her search for Lizzy because I understand her work ethics from working with her for the past few days! She will complete the job because of her professionalism! Karl answered

What? You're working with Bella? She just told me that she had some supernatural friends searching the mountain for Lizzy along with herself and I assumed it was witches like herself! Czar said confused

Oh my God, that means that Lizzy is in that building Bella was looking for! James said out loud as it just occurred to him.

Yes father we're the supernatural friends that has been searching for the cave and building with Bella! Karl answered

This story keeps getting more confusing. So Bella didn't know that you were my kids? No one told her? Czar asked and looked at all three faces.

We saw no need as we did not know that she was working for you and we really don't go around broadcasting we're your kids for safety purposes Alpha! Karl replied

Don't play fucking dumb with me Karl. None of you, not even Kyle mentioned that you were members of the Dark Moon pack and my kids because of your guilt and selfishness for your acts decades ago! I can just imagine how hurt Bella must be feeling. For once in my life I can now actually say how ashamed I am of my sons! Never in life would I have believe that all of you including James and Charlie would be so inconsiderate to someone! You worked with her but never told her that you belong to the Dark Moon Pack! Did she even know that you all were werewolves Karl? the Alpha said angrily.

Yes father she found out when we battled against her for the rogue that supplied us with the uprising information! Karl bowed his head and answered.

So she was not told but found out on her own! I have never been so ashamed to be associated with any one of you. The Alpha replied

Hearing those words come out his father's mouth hurt Karl to his very core. Worst was that he knew Charlie and James felt as bad as well after they both bowed their hands after the Alpha spoke.

We're sorry we have disappointed you father as that was not our intentions! Karl said sadly

But you all did and I know that we brought you up better than that! Maybe life outside of the settlement is not for you all! Karl's father said just as his phone rang.

What? Sound the alarm and lock down the gates. Get all our men here at the main house right away! Czar said sounding frantic.

Karl, Charlie and James had moved in closer to their Alpha to protect him as soon as they heard the fear in his voice assuming that the uprising had begun.

Bella's back and she just drove through the main gate and the bar without stopping while using magic to make them disappear! Alpha said as he walked to the front of the house. He was deeply fearful that anger had gotten the best of her and she had returned for Kyle to take her revenge.

Karl, Charlie and James sensing his worry walked closely behind their Alpha and stood waiting.

Bella kept speeding down the road and came to a screeching stop right in front of where Alpha Czar stood on the driveway. She got out of the car and briskly walked around the car and opened the door to show an unconscious Lizzy.

They had her in a room of wolfbane. She's been in and out of consciousness for the past hour and a half. Bella said in a professional manner.

James ran to the car instantly as tears began falling down his face. He quickly opened the door and grabbed her up and began running directly to the hospital to meet the healers.

The location of the building that you seek is Latitude: 40.316250 and Longitude: 105.634190. Heavily guarded and armed with over a thousands werewolves and about eighty women in the building. Bella said to Karl and closed her car door and walked to the driver side of her car.

Bella please wait! First I want to say thank you for bringing back Lizzy to us and secondly I want to say that I'm truly sorry for what took place earlier. I should have stopped it from the start. Alpha Czar said apologetically

Alpha Czar bringing back Lizzy to you meant that our agreement is now fulfilled and payment can be settled between my receptionist and Giles.  Another thing is that you should not blame yourself for the wrongdoing off your offspring as i know how respected you are. I'm sorry Alpha Czar for what occurred here but please do not call me again! Bella said and got in her car and sped off.
