Chapter 43

Bella and her parents got back from the Caribbean cruise all looking tanned with smiling faces. They had an exceptional time and even found out some exciting news after a hospital visit from a suspected bad dose of food poisoning with Bella.

After returning from the cruise, Claire and Peter then stayed over an additional week at Bella's place to keep her company and shop for furniture for their new renovations to their house in the mountains when Bella came to stay with them.

After Bella waved her parents off, she walked into her office.

Good morning! Bella said happily as she walked through the door.

Good morning Bella! I was just about to call you and tell you that Lizzy is here to see you for the ninth time! Donna said

Where is she? Bella asked surprised

In the waiting room! Should I bring her to your office? Donna asked

Yes in two minutes, I need to make some coffee. Bella said and walked to the office kitchen and poured herself some coffee and walked into her desk.

Five minutes later there was a knock at her door and Donna opened the door and let Lizzy in.

Hello Lizzy! Bella said and got up and went to her to shake her hand but unexpectedly Lizzy hugged her tightly.

Hello Bella! Lizzy said as she hugged her tightly and then released her.

Have a seat! I've heard you visited my place several times to see me! How can I help you? Bella asked

Bella I came here to personally meet you to thank you for what you did for me! Father told me everything and James filled me in with other details. Lizzy said smiling

Lizzy I was just doing my job. Besides James told me that you once saved me so now we're even! Bella said still heartbroken about Kyle but much happier recently.

Bella, Charlie told me what happened earlier that day you rescued me and I want to say that even though my brothers act like jerks sometimes , they are truly good at heart especially Kyle. Lizzy said in an apologetic tone.

Lizzy that's all over now, that was the past. I've let that go and is quite happy now. I hold no grudges to anyone of them including Kyle. Bella said

You have? Well that's quite nice of you Bella. I know I liked you from our first encounter. Lizzy said smiling

Seeing that you hold no grudges any more, I'm here to present you with this! Lizzy said and pulled out an envelope from her bag and handed it to Bella.

What is it? Bella asked curiously

Open it and see Bella! Lizzy said excitedly.

Oh an invite to a ceremony. Bella said smiling but confused.

Bella this is an lycanthropic invite to a ceremony that occurs when our litter is born. Our elders then present them to the pack and their names. It's like a baptism in other words. Lizzy said

Lizzy I don't think I should be there as it's a werewolf ceremony and I am a half witch! Bella said unsure if she truly wanted to encounter Alpha Czar and his family again.

Bella you  must be there please! My litter won't have been born into our pack if you didn't help bring us home safely. And who cares if you're half witch because I have friends who are vampires also. Please tell me you'll come! Lizzy begged

I don't know if I'll be free next Saturday Lizzy seeing that I just go back from vacation. Let me check my schedule and I'll let you know soon okay. Bella said trying to back out of the invite.

Bella I want to introduce you to my litter so please try your very best to attend. After all, they will always know who you are and what you did for them! Now, I've got to go because James is waiting in the cat for me. Lizzy said and stood up.

Bella walked around to walk her out and again Lizzy hugged her tightly like they were best friends.

By the way I love your blouse Bella. I had bought one just like it about two weeks after I found out I was pregnant. Pity it can't fit me anymore or else we'd be twinning. Lizzy said causing the both women to laugh.

Take care of yourself Lizzy. Bella said

You too Bella. See you next Saturday. Lizzy called back as she walked out the door.

For the rest of the day and several day after, Bella did interviews for two private investigators whom she wanted to hire for her company. She had planned to stay at her parents in the mountains for some time and needed capable investigators. She settled on a warlock and a lycanthrope who came highly recommended by several agencies and she felt competent in their abilities.

Saturday was fast approaching and she was still indecisive on whether she would attend Lizzy's litter ceremony. The thought of facing Kyle once again not to mention his family was troubling.

Back at Alpha Czar's pack, Lizzy had just been rushed to the hospital after her water broke in the car on her way from the city. James was inside the room with her while the rest of the family paced the floors. Even the Alpha was present for this monumental occasion.

Suddenly they heard several loud cries and smiles plastered over everyone's face as they peeped to get a better look but could not see anything. Fifteen minutes later, the healers opened the door and walked to their Alpha. The first female whispered something and they all walked away. The Alpha suddenly began to smile as he walked through the door and lead his family to Lizzy and James who had not one, not two but three bassinet close to them.On arriving in front of them however, their Alpha acted surprised even though the healer had already informed him, that Lizzy had given birth to one male and two female pups when she approached him earlier.

Come meet our pups my beautiful family. Lizzy said

As soon as Lizzy said those words,  the Alpha, Jean, Kyle, Karl and Charlie gently pushed each other to get a better look at the newborn pups. Lizzy took the male pup out of the hospital bassinet and placed it in her father's hands

Daddy say hello to your grandson Zayn. Lizzy said as Czar held out her hands.

Immediately tears of joy slid down his eyes as he looked at his grandson and smiled broadly. The rest if the family rushed to get a glimpse at the Alpha's side.

He's so handsome, princess! Alpha Czar mumbled as he tried to regain his composure.

Mommy this is your first granddaughter Elle! Lizzy said as she put the second pup in Jean's hands causing her to laugh softly,

Isn't she precious? Jean said and began to show her off to the rest of the family.

Kyle , Karl and Charlie join your three hands together and be sure not to drop her because she's a little heavier that the rest. Lizzy instructed and the three quickly made a bed for the third pup when they placed their hands side by side.

Guys say hello to our last pup! This is Bell! Lizzy said and immediately tears began falling from Kyle's eyes as his hands trembled.

She's so beautiful Lizzy! Kyle said and laughed and cried

And chubby! Karl added and grinned as he stared at her intensely.

Not to mention, cute! Charlie replied as she smiled broadly and made baby sounds to see the little pup smile.

The entire family stayed with the pups for quite a while before Lizzy had to feed them and then they left.

The pups are all so special, each one in their own way. Thank goodness we were here to see them! Jean said as they all walked through the hospital corridors.

Yes my love . Thankfully Bella was able to do the impossible because if it wasn't for her, I know it may not have been possible for Lizzy to be here with us. The Alpha answered.

Don't you think it was nice of Lizzy to name her last pup Bell, Kyle! Karl teased after hearing his parents discussion and remembering Kyle's actions when holding Bell earlier.

Charlie immediately pinched Karl after saying that knowing that Kyle was still hurting for Bella.

Yea, sure! Kyle answered as he look forward and tried to keep his composure even though his heart ached tremendously.

As soon as they were out of the hospital, Kyle spoke

I'm going to make a check around the premises before I come in.

And be sure to check on the guards and ensure they are all at their stations and not sleeping around somewhere! Alpha Czar instructed

Yes Alpha! Kyle said and shape-shifted into a lycanthrope and ran off.

Kyle needed this. He needed to try to free his mind from the pain of remembering Bella and the times they had together. It had been almost two months and she did not try to contact him. And even though he drove several times over to her place, he still had not seen her.

The worst part was that his wolf was no longer there or still not talking to him and he felt extremely alone. Images of Bella flooded his mind of the many times they were together. The first of many memories was when she began singing while in the car with him and tears burned his faced as he ran through the woods surrounding the settlement.
