In a fix

High school was finally over and all the memories were still fresh in Lisa's memory.

She kept on reminiscing about all the experience and the lessons learnt from it.

She fell in love with her best friend in highschool, attended the best prom night ever that confirmed Frederick's love and also left a significant part when she lost her pride on the same night.

"What a memorable experience" she mutters silently in her mind as she lies on her well dressed bed with coloured bedsheets.

The thought of graduating from high school was so memorable especially having the kind of friends she had.

Lisa's dream of becoming an Editor never skipped her mind even for a day cause she loved the profession and sometimes exhibits the traits. She always read so many articles on the media whenever she's alone or feels like just reading something.

Betty sometimes teases her about reading lame articles instead of watching modelling shows or even netflix.

"No wonder you're so boring!" She said with her lips twisted in dismay.

"I love reading articles. You should try and read one at least" she responds.

"Ewwww....never mind I'll pass okay!" She retarded.

"Hahaha....naughty girl. You and your hatred for reading" Lisa said sarcastically.

"Go to hell b*itch!" She replies with her hands waging at Lisa in a hilarious manner.

Mr Greg had wanted his daughter to study law but she doesn't even allow him speak of of it to her. Lisa loves the fact that lawyers are agents of the law and their job is to make sure the evil ones get punished for their crimes but she's not just interested.

She had this opinion of lawyers having so many enemies because of the nature of their job.

Lisa sometimes fears for her dad's life cause definitely he would have enemies that would want him dead cause he didn't spare them or defended against their evil deeds.

Mr Greg Wellington is notable for his honesty as a lawyer. He hates injustice and makes sure justice is served no matter who is involved in the law suit.

His honesty made him popular and renowned amongst others especially in Angeles judicial court. But he has old enemies who are still watching his every move for them to destroy him.

Lisa's Dad has had some few attempts on his life before she was even born but he had nearly escaped death.

"I'm too gullible for the profession" she says each time he tries to talk her into it and they would laugh afterwards.

Frederick's decision to study medicine had totally been forgotten cause he's dad wants the contrary.

He definitely wants to attend the same college with Lisa cause the new love birds wouldn't want to leave each other for even a second.

They had the conversation earlier at his house when Lisa visited him.

Frederick's parents were the type of people that would make sure their son gets the best education cause he would be a successor after his father.

Frederick's dad is an engineer whose company supplies all kinds of car accessories and other services. He's a good business man and his company is well-known in Angeles. Frederick was a being skeptical about his choice of study in college cause he never had any actual career dream.

"I'm confused about everything right now baby" he laments as he puts his head on her soft tighs.

"Dad wants me to study engineering but I'm not interested in it....he fails to understand"

"So what do you want to study?" She asked as her hands caresses his curly hair.

"I....I...I don't know" he replies in frustration.

"Then what then if you don't even have a dream career?" She responds in dismay as her hands rests on his broad chest.

"Try and find out what you want to settle for cause there's no time to waste!" She whispers in his ear as she kisses his forehead with her soft lips.

"I need you!" He replies as he touches her cheeks slowly.

"In your house...no...no!" She slammed

"Yes cause my parents are not home"

"No! I'm still recovering from our last encounter please!" She replies as she kissed him on the cheeks.

"Hmm...it's fine my princess. I'll wait"

"It's not like you have a choice my grown baby" she teased as they both laugh loudly.

Lisa grew really fond of teasing him especially when he begs for her attention and she loves making him need her every time they're together.

Frederick's mum Loved Lisa and so she didn't have any issues with their relationship even to the extent that she prepares mouthwatering dishes for her each time she visits them and Lisa always enjoys her company.

"So tell me how's my son treating you" Mrs Courtney asked curiously.

"Well he's been very nice to me ma'am" she responds

"Oh I see! I'm glad to hear that"

"Uhmm....has he told you about college?" She asked.

"Yes ma'am we spoke about it but he's still in a dilemma of going for what he wants"

"Hmmm...me and his dad wants the best for him but he's being reluctant and it's so annoying" she complains.

"Don't worry he'll make you both proud" she said confidently as he walks in on them.

"Hmmm....gossiping about me?" He asked with curiosity

"Get lost you silly boy! I was just having a heart to heart conversation with my future daughter in law" Mrs Courtney said curtly as Lisa's heart skips a bit on hearing that.

"Smiles....okay mum thank goodness you said future not now okay?" He said hilariously as they all laughed to his statement.

"You both should make sure you excel greatly in your academics so we can be proud of you" Mrs Courtney said sternly as she goes upstairs to change her clothes.

"you're mum is so fun to be with" Lisa said happily

"like I know right but she's a pain on my ass sometimes tho" he responds.

"now she sees you as a potential daughter in law...hmm" he said in a rather funny tone.

"silly boy...get lost jerk"

"That's awful! I can't remember the last time you called me that"

"look at you acting like a baby....hahahahaha" she replies in laughter as they stroll through the neighborhood.
