Chapter 024

Like staring at the cold monochrome that holds many memories on the other side, Fara stared at the man blankly. Both are looking for the smallest point of longing that is difficult to express. Each of them seemed unable to move their lips even to greet each other.

It was like being in a dream, a dream that always appeared to accompany Fara's cold night. However, right now, standing in front of him was the man he missed the most, the man he had destroyed on his most unfortunate day.

Bryan, the man who was standing with a small wound in the corner of his forehead froze, he never even thought of meeting Fara under any circumstances. For him, the day that Fara broke their relationship, that day also Fara forgot him. That way, he was also determined to himself not to find out about that girl again, Bryan learned to erase his feelings so far, but he still didn't feel completely successful.

"Fara," although his voice was not heard, but Fara could catch what just came out of Bryan's lips.

Instead of running to hug the man, Fara preferred to act normal as if they were strangers. She immediately got up from there to help find the medicine box that Bryan needed.

The man's gaze couldn't be separated from Fara's presence on tiptoe in front of him, he didn't even take his eyes off the girl when their eyes met and Fara handed the box in front of him.

"Thank you," said the man standing next to Bryan, Fara just smiled in response.

Her limbs were about to step from there to cancel her sleep program, after all he would not feel at ease if he was there.

"Excuse me, can I know your name?" Her steps stopped when Bryan's friend asked her that question.

"My name is not important for you to know, I'm sorry."

Fara passed quickly from there, she carried heavy steps towards the toilet. Her tears managed to fall when she got there, Fara complained to the sink while washing her face. It turns out that fate can't be easily guessed, the proof is that Fara was again surprised by Bryan's existence, which she never imagined.

She thought, Fara was very far from the reach of people who knew her in the past, it turned out that she was wrong. Fate could easily bring the two of them together without Fara thinking. It shouldn't be like this, right?

Fara should have almost been able to forget about Bryan's figure, she was always determined to herself not to scavenge the memories she had buried. However, Bryan's current existence backfired on himself, three months was long enough for him, and during that time Bryan and some of his friends would be at Fara's school doing research.

"Jackson, at least while guarding the west area, you shouldn't relax like that time, you idiot!" Hansel cursed harshly at Jackson, who was smoking a cigarette in his hand, the man didn't seem to care what Hansel said. After all, he thinks he's set it right, he's also never conceded a goal so far.

"Too much is not good either, you are too tense and stiff, the enemy can easily guess you from the look on your face."

Hansel could only roll his eyes with disgust at Jackson's words, he got up from there and grabbed one of the soda cans in front of Yasa and Sean.

"What do you think of him?" Yasa raised an eyebrow at Hansel's question. As chairman, he actually doesn't really care about security issues, his members should be released regarding the positions they want. After all, Yasa firmly believes that if danger threatens, then they can all swiftly dispel it.

In essence, playing a little and not harming the team is not a problem for Yasa.

"Remember when you were so vigilant that you lost one of our weapons? Lucky at that time I found it, if they find it, maybe their traces can be found quickly," said Jackson accompanied by a small chuckle from Sean. Actually, Jackson and Hansel rarely get along, the two always argue if there is the slightest difference of opinion.

Even so, at least Yasa and Sean could feel a little comforted. After all, the two never crossed the line, they knew what they should argue about and what they shouldn't.

"What about your mother's case?" Sean who was strumming the guitar strings asked that question, making Yasa who was playing his cellphone slowly turned to Sean.

"Do I have to say it twice?" Sean's small chuckle made Yasa roll her eyes in embarrassment. Actually, all members believe that Yasa will never swallow his saliva again, it's just that his father always demands Yasa not to find out about the case. For the middle-aged man, it was useless, unfortunately Yasa never fought with his father's words.

"I'm always ready to help you, but what about your father? He could really break your bones if you fight him." Not denying what Sean had told him, apparently Yasa didn't care about that at all.

For him, the case of his mother's death should be able to find the truth as soon as possible.

"That's why I ask you not to tell this to my father, just pretend that I never cared about my mother's death."

Everyone seemed to nod in understanding, unlike Sean who suddenly fell silent when he remembered something.

"Have you told your father about Fara's problem?" Instead of answering Sean's question, Yasa threw an empty can at the man.

"Are you senile or what? There's no way you can forget the day I sent Fara to school at my father's place. Actually, he doesn't care either."

"Right, you're the only one who seems to care here."

Jackson whistled softly at Sean's words, besides liking to argue with Hansel, Jackson also liked to tease and annoy his own chairman.

Hansel's hand suddenly wrapped around Jackson's shoulder, "Come on, how much can I make if I finish it for you?"

The joke that Hansel made was rewarded with a small punch from Jackson, they were made to laugh again with it.

"Whatever it is, I think you should find out about Fara, how her life was before you found her including her past. Since the first time I met her, I felt something was wrong with that girl."

Yasa seemed to think, but slowly he nodded in agreement with Sean's words.
