Chapter 38

Water streams slid down my skin, warming up my skin that had been greatly stricken cold by magic. My hands laid splattered on the wall as I went over the events of this night. I was still in disbelief over my escape and the truth I had learned….

…. Demons…. What a rotten subject. I raised my hand, the shaking fingers located the path to my shoulder blades, the wrinkled pads shakingly found their way to my shoulder blades.

I hissed upon grazing the chunky and raw wound on my shoulder blade. As I felt the chillness of magic evaporating from my body and a shudder crawled from my guy as I grazed contact with the ever fresh wound on my shoulder blade, memories flashed through my mind.

Deep dark memories. These memories contained blood and pain. It made my heart squeeze. I wasn't sure what brought about these buried memories again, perhaps I could blame it with my recent entanglement with the witches.
