Chapter 99

Third person point of view

Moments after Sinui disappeared from their sight, Persephone laid her head on the desk, staring at a quiet Caspian from the corner of her eyes.

She could not believe it, she was in a moment where she wished he would say something rather than just staring at the paper on the table.

Although…. As a female with good eyes she could appreciate the gorgeous sight of him staring down seriously at the papers, his eyebrows furrowing and creating creases on his forehead, his red lock slipping down as his neck crooked down.

She sighed and opened her mouth, "Do werewolves eat human flesh?"

"No Pennylover, my kind doesn't eat human flesh…. Well most of the time at least." Caspian answered, lightly chuckling at Persephone's question.

She felt she could calm her brain from the absurd thoughts of Caspian or even Sinui eating her one-day because she had pissed them off.
