QUARREL

The car braked suddenly. The car driver was beyond shocked because suddenly, someone crossed the road.

"You madman! You want to die!!" he shouted from inside the car with a shocked face. "If you want to kill yourself, don't crash into my car!!" Then the driver angrily got out of the car.

Kiara, in a state of shock, immediately realized, as soon as she was simply scolded by the person who almost hit her.

"What did you say?!! You're crazy! Drive fast. You think this highway belongs to your ancestors!!" Kiara's reply was no less furious to see the person who almost hit her.

"You're in the wrong!! Crossing the street without looking left and right, how many lives do you think you have?!!" the driver snapped, his face red with anger.

"You are the wrong one!!" Kiara snapped back while pointing at the face of the person who was about to bump into her.

"It's wrong to dare to point at my face again!! What if my car breaks?! Can you replace it?!" His reply was no less furious looking at the face of Kiara who was shorter than him.

They didn't realize that the fight between the two of them had become a spectacle for people who came intending to help.

"A broken car is worth nothing compared to my body you almost hit!! Can you replace it?!!" Kiara asked more annoyed.

"If this mister can't replace him, you two just marry for his responsibility. You are very compatible, beautiful, and handsome," someone spoke from behind them.

When they heard someone talking, they realized that they had already become the spectacle of many people. Kiara's index finger, which was still pointing at the face of the person who almost hit her, slowly lowered and immediately looked around, many people saw it.

"Yes, Miss. Just marry this man," said another.

"If I was hit, I would ask for the responsibility to marry." An old woman answered, causing everyone to laugh.

Kiara immediately fell silent because she was embarrassed to be watched by many people, especially when it happened right in front of her school building, even though she wanted to curse the man who almost hit her.

Suddenly someone shouted. "Disband! My car is about to pass! You guys are jamming the road!!"

"Move!!" Shouted another motorcyclist who was annoyed that he couldn't pass because a lot of people were crowding his way.

"Already! Disbanded!! No one was hurt!"

Finally one by one, the people who were watching Kiara and Leo dispersed.

So all that's left now is Kiara and the person who was going to hit her earlier.

"Watch you!!" The driver snapped angrily looking at Kiara's eyes. "If only I wasn't in such a rush today. I'll make the calculations with you!!"

"Why are you angry?! I should be the one angry! I'm embarrassed to be seen by so many people because of you!!" Kiara snapped not wanting to lose.

"You snotty brat! You think you're the only one who's embarrassed?!!" he snapped angrily. But secretly the driver of the car read the name written on the right chest of the uniform that Kiara was wearing. "Kiara," he said to himself.

"What?!!" Kiara asked looking straight into her eyes as if challenged because he saw the driver only saw his face.

"I'm going crazy if I linger here!!" Without wasting any more time, the driver immediately turned around and got into his car. "You are crazy!!!"

Not long after, the horn sounded several times so that Kiara almost jumped in surprise.

"You are crazy!!" Kiara shouted angrily. "You want to make me die of shock?!!"

The horn kept sounding so that Kiara couldn't help but get out of the way of the car.

"Watch you!!!" Kiara shouted seeing the car sliding away from her. Not long after, Kiara faintly heard the sound of an entrance signal from the direction of her school.

"Miss, Miss Kiara! The bell has rung. Come on in!!" Call the school guard from the front gate.

Kiara, who was standing on the side of the road, looked back and saw who had called her. "Yes sir!" Kiara replied. "Thank you."

"Yes Miss, come in quickly!"

With an annoyed face, Kiara stepped back into her school and hurriedly walked toward her class.

"Why do you look like that? Like someone who has just seen a ghost," Silvi asked seeing Kiara just coming and sitting next to her.

"I just saw a ghost," Kiara replied annoyed.

"Are there ghosts this afternoon?" Silvi asked.

"There is! The proof is that crazy man who met me on the street, he is like a ghost who suddenly appeared in front of me!" Kiara replied annoyed.

"The answer is normal, don't be so upset. "A male ghost? Isn't he handsome?" Silvi asked deliberately teasing her best friend.

"More handsome my lover," Kiara replied quickly.

"That means the man is not handsome," said Silvi.

"As soon as you hear a creature whose name is a man, you are immediately delighted." Of course, I'm happy because I'm normal," answered Silvi with a wink.

Kiara replied with a sneer. "Foolish bastard."

Not long after, the teacher came in and the teaching and learning activities began. The atmosphere in the class that was busy before now turned into silence because all the students were already focused on paying attention to the teacher.

"You snotty brat! She's the wrong one, she's the angry one!!" He grumbled the whole way he was driving. "Today I was unlucky!!"

"Who else is on the phone?" He grumbled while plugging in his earphones to answer incoming calls.

Who Called:

"Hello, Mr. Leo. The meeting will start soon. Where are you?"

Leo:

"Still on the way, coming soon."

Who Called:

"Okay sir, we'll wait."

Leo took off his earphones after hanging up the call. The focus returned to driving and soon arrived at the destination.

"Finally arrived," Leo muttered after his car parked in front of his building and hurriedly got out of the car.

"Good morning sir," said a man wearing his building's security uniform when he saw his big boss getting out of the car.

"Morning," Leo replied.

With hasty steps, Leo got in and headed for the elevator that was just for him. Many respectful greetings from his employees but no one answered.

Arriving at the top floor specifically for his study, Leo saw his secretary. "Monika, come with me!" Leo said as she passed his desk.

Monika who was checking documents immediately got up from her seat and followed Leo from behind.

"Have you prepared everything?" Leo asked as he sat down in his oversized chair.

"Yes sir. I'll postpone it for the next 30 minutes," replied Monika.

"Good job! I got stuck in traffic on the road and there was a bit of a problem so arrived late. Now go, get on with your work!"

Without another word, Monika just walked away to leave.

"Wait, Monika!" Leo said stopping his secretary's steps.

"Yes sir," replied Monika turning around, and looking back at his boss.

"Please make me a coffee!"

"Yes sir," replied Monika.

After seeing Monika out of his room, Leo immediately leaned back. His memory flashed back to the previous incident where he almost hit a girl who was about to cross.

"I think I've seen that girl but where?" he muttered. "That girl's face, very familiar to me."

Leo thought hard remembering the girl's face. "Now I remember!! That girl who met me in front of the boutique. Those eyes!! The same eyes, very beautiful eyes. I still remember those beautiful eyes." Leo was talking to himself in his heart so that involuntarily a smile appeared on his lips.

"It seems that you are happy," suddenly heard Monika's voice from the side.

"Since when have you been here?" Leo asked looking at Monika.

"Since you've been smiling to yourself," replied Monika smiling. "Here's the coffee, sir."

"Thank you. How long before the meeting starts?" Leo asked.

Monika looked at the watch that was beautifully coiled in her hand. "10 more minutes."

"Then prepare all the necessary documents." Leo took his coffee and drank it slowly.

"Everything is ready," replied Monika.

Leo got up from his chair and immediately walked outside followed by Monika from behind.
