THE THIRD MEETING OF LEO AND KIARA

"Kiara!" Call Mom from the kitchen. "Where are you? Help Mother."

"Yes ma'am, just a minute!" Kiara answered from the room. Not long after, Kiara entered the kitchen. "What is it ma'am?" she asked.

"Help Mom put these cookies into the jar," Mom answered as she put the cookies on the table.

"Where's the jar?"

"In the top cupboard. Be careful to pick it up, don't let it fall or it will break," said Mother.

"Yes ma'am."

Then Mom took the cake that was still baking from the oven. "Why is the cake burning? Is the fire too high or is the oven broken?" Mother muttered.

"Why ma'am?" Kiara asked hearing her mother muttering while carrying several jars in her hand.

"It's a burnt cake. Maybe the fire was too high or the oven's broken."

"Mom made a lot of cakes, do you have any orders?" Kiara asked looking at the cakes on the table.

"Yes. The mother's friend who works in the house of the rich often has many guests. These cakes are for their guests," replied Mother. "Arrange the cake neatly so that later it becomes our customer."

One by one the cakes were arranged neatly into the jars very carefully so that the empty jars were now filled and leaving the cakes charred.

"Scorched and spoiled cake, may I eat it, ma'am?" Ask Kiara.

"Yes you can, just eat," replied Mother.

"Who will deliver these cookies later?" Kiara asked while chewing the cake. "Or the cake was taken here?"

"You will deliver it later, I have already noted the address of the cake orderer."

"It's late. I don't want to! I'll just tell someone else!" Kiara refuses.

"Tomorrow you will deliver! Aren't you going to be off school tomorrow? You will deliver this cake in the morning!" The mother said not to be denied.

Kiara sighed and didn't speak anymore. Arguing is also useless, his mother must win. Kiara got up from her seat and walked towards the window. "Mom, is it rainy season now?"

Her mother didn't answer making Kiara look back. "What is it, ma'am?"

"Mom's toaster is broken, looks like I'll have to buy a new one," Mom answered, holding up her broken toaster.

"It's better if you buy a new one, if you use that one, the cakes can be damaged and all customers run away," said Kiara.

"Yes, I want to buy a new one."

Kiara saw all the cakes were neatly arranged in the jar. "This is all the cake is done, Kiara wants to go to the room. Lots of work from school."

"Yes, go. Do your schoolwork! Study hard so that you become a smart child," replied his mother.

Kiara then went to her room and immediately did all the school assignments that had piled up so that in a short time everything was finished.

"Finally finished, my waist feels sore from sitting," Kiara spoke to herself while stretching her stiff muscles.

"Lie down seems to be very comfortable." Then Kiara moved from the chair to the bed and immediately lay down her stiff body.

His body was on his back staring at the ceiling of the room so that it made him daydream and remember the events of this afternoon. "What a crazy man!! The one who almost hit me why is he the one getting angry?!!"

"I seem to have seen that man's face but where? His face looks familiar to me," Kiara tried to remember the face of the man who almost bumped into her until her brow furrowed but the more she tried to remember the more Kiara forgot.

Kiara finally fell asleep after a moment of silence. The cold night air and the sound of rain outside accompanied Kiara to go to dreamland.

...

After a night of heavy rain, this morning the air felt very fresh. Seen above the tree, the birds happily chirping with each other as well as the blooming flowers add to the beautiful atmosphere in the morning.

"Kiara, wake up!" His mother called from the kitchen screaming. "You have to deliver the cake to Mom's friend!!"

"Mom is already noisy in the morning, your voice can wake up the neighbors who are still asleep!" Kiara replied that she had just entered the kitchen.

"I think my beautiful son is not awake yet," replied his mother smiling.

"I've been up since earlier," Kiara replied, sitting in front of the dining table.

"You have breakfast before you go, the place is very far away. Mother has made special fried rice for you."

"Mom, may I ask Bagas to accompany me?" Kiara said carefully looking at her mother.

"Yes, but don't go anywhere else," replied his mother, smiling.

"What other place?" Kiara asked not understanding.

"You already have a boyfriend but don't understand or pretend you don't understand?!!"

"What is this mother talking about?" Kiara answered shyly with a flushed face after understanding what her mother meant.

After finishing breakfast, Kiara called her boyfriend Bagas.

Kiara :

"Hello, Bagas."

Bagas:

"Yes. Hello."

Kiara :

"Good, busy aren't you?"

Bagas:

" No problem?"

Kiara :

"Can you take me to a friend of yours, Mom, who ordered the cake?"

Bagas:

"When?"

Kiara :

"Now can?"

Bagas:

"Of course. I'll be right there now, I'll be there in half an hour."

Kiara :

"I'll wait."

Without asking much, Kiara's mother immediately put some cake jars into a paper bag. Just seeing the happy face of her son, Mother already knew that Bagas would come soon.

Half an hour later, the sound of a motorcycle horn honking from outside the fence of the house. Kiara immediately took a paper bag filled with a cake jar.

"Kiara goes, ma'am, Bagas has come to pick me up," said Kiara immediately going outside.

"Did you take the address?!" Mom asked seeing Kiara leaving in a hurry.

"Yes ma'am!" Kiara replied.

"Be careful on the way!!"

"Yes ma'am. Kiara is leaving!!"

Not long after, I heard the sound of a motorbike leaving the house.

......

"Bowo! Bowo! " Leo shouted calling his servant from the garden.

Mr. Bowo with hasty steps immediately came to his master. "What is it, sir?"

"I'm going for a morning run, it's been a long time since I've exercised. The weather is great today."

"Yes sir," replied Bowo seeing that his master was already wearing sports clothes and shoes. "Be careful sir."

"Yes, Bowo," Leo then jogged out of the house through the side fence.

Him face looks very fresh. He was tall and well-built with brown skin and a handsome face. Along the way he walked, many women were amazed to see his good looks. Even though Leo wears a hat that deliberately covers his face, women are still very observant of his good looks.

After running for quite a while, Leo finally decided to take a break. "Looks like I've been running for quite a while, it's better to rest for a while," he muttered to himself looking for an empty bench that was widely available in the park.

The sun was already starting to feel hot but Leo still enjoyed sitting for long in the garden, enjoying the wind blowing against his face.

Not long after his eyes saw a girl who was buying ice cream. "That girl seems familiar to me," Leo muttered.

Because the distance was a few meters from him, Leo had to squint his eyes. "That's right, that's it! The beautiful-eyed girl and the girl who almost got hit are the same girls," Leo muttered to himself without taking his eyes off the girl who was buying ice cream.

"Kiara," Leo muttered, smiling to himself. "Who is the man with her? Why is he holding Kiara's hand?"

From afar Kiara didn't notice a pair of eyes watching him from a seat on a park bench.

"Bagas, we're looking for a seat," said Kiara. "I want to stay here for a while because the air is so fresh."

"Yeah, we sit here for a bit!" Answer Bagas looked around to find a seat. "Look!! There's an empty seat over there!"

Leo who had been watching Kiara looked surprised, seeing the two of them coming toward him. "Why are those two here?!" Afraid of being recognized by Kiara, Leo quickly lowered the hat he was wearing to cover his face.

"Let's sit here for a moment! This seat is empty," said Bagas, pointing at the chair next to Leo.

Kiara immediately sat down next to Leo without any suspicion. Leo who was feeling nervous tried to be quiet and calm by looking the other way. Kiara herself looks relaxed, sitting while enjoying her ice cream.
