Chapter 4

The weekends went by slow, but I couldn't stop thinking about Alisa, she seemed to have been stuck on my mind, I couldn't get her out, Damn! I took my phone out of my pocket and called Brian, I dial the number, he answered almost immediately.

"Dude, what-up." I asked.

"Can you come over to my place and I will explain." his voice sound like he as been crying, I can't believe how one person can affect another like this.

"I'll be there." I said.

"Okay, see you then." He said then he hang-up, I prepared myself, I walked downstairs and found my mom working in the kitchen.

"Mom, am going to Brian's." I said as I walked to the door.

As I started to walk to Brian's house, his house about 5 bricks away from mine, as I made my way to Brian place, I got and then I saw her again, she standing at the gate ready to go in, when saw her and my heart skip a beat, just seeing her brought a smile to my face, a week had passed since I last saw her pretty face at the party, I thought I was never gonna see her but here I am was staring at her.

Alisa my heart almost jump out of my chest just by looking at her, she is Mary's cousin, somehow I knew that was gonna play a factor.

I stood there for few seconds to just look at her, I was lost in my thoughts, until a tap on the shoulder brought me back to reality.

"What are you staring at?" Jason asked. I quickly turned to face him.

"Um.., nothing." I said looking away, he turned to look in the direction that I was looking in.

He saw her and a menacing smile filled his face, he looked at me and shook his head, I was certain that smile meant that he knew something.

"What are you doing here?" I asked trying to divert his attention.

"First of all a, how you doing would be nice, and second am here to see our friend." Jason said, his hand on is pockets.

We made our way inside, but I couldn't a help glance at her, and I couldn't help but smile a little, as I turned to look at Jason who was already looking at me with curiosity in his eyes.

We reached the door and I knocked on it, seconds later the door opens andh his little sister was at the door.

"Hi guys, come on in." she said, Brian's sister, I have to confess she's pretty, with long brown hair that match perfectly with her skin color with big green eyes.

"He his in is room, he as been their since morning." she said sighing. Brian doesn't want any of his friends to date his sister, especially Jason and I can understand that, he his a player, so we came up with a rule that says your friend's sisters her off limits.

"Sometimes I forget how pretty Brian's sister is." Jason whispered in my ear.

"That's your friend's sister, dude." I whispered back at him.

"Even sweeter." Jason said with a sinister smile.

"You're sick man." I said looking at him. As we made our walk to his room, we got to the door, and Jason knocked on the door.

"Who his It?" a voice on the other side of the door.

"Dude, its us open up." I said, Seconds later the door opened.

We walked in and the room was a mess, it looked like it hasn't been swept for a month.

"You look miserable." Jason said looking around. As we sat on the chair on the side.

"What happened?"

"She kind of caught me making out with another girl." he said with regret in his eyes.

"I have called and text her but no response, she doesn't want anything to do with me." he said as he sighed sadly.

"Man, what you gonna do now?" I asked looking at him.

"I don't know, I really hurt, if she does forget me..."

"She'll forget you, cause she loves you, you made mistake and we all make mistakes but that how we grow though those mistakes, you just have to show her that, she is the only one that you care about." I said, and They both just looked at me, like I didn't just say that.

"Why are you still single?" Jason said, and I just looked at with a smirk.

"Thanks guys, I don't know what I would do without you." he said.

I don't know anything about relationships have never even had one girlfriend.

I looked out the window just hoping to catch of glance of her again, I saw what I was hoped to see, I don't know how but she looked in my way and our gaze met we stare at each other for a few second, I could maintain it and I quickly drop the curtain. They both turned their attention to me.

"Dude, what are you doing there?"

"I, um, nothing I was just...,Um looking out the window." I said.

We hang there for a couple of hour comforting Brian. Next Morning it was a school day, I woke took shower and made my way to the living room, found my mom in the kitchen preparing breaks fast for us to eat.

"Morning Mom." I greeted, She turned to look at me before answering.

"Morning son." she said. I pulled out a chair and sat, she put plate on the table for me, I quickly ate my meal and ran to school.

"Thank mom." I said before I walked out the door. Sitting in the my class, waiting for the English teacher, everyone were just busy with there on thing, and that when she walked in, the prettiest girl I have ever seen, she just seem to be getting more and more beautiful each passing day.

I couldn't take my eyes off her. She walked and sat on the desk on the first column, I still couldn't take my eyes off her. A voice behind me.

"You go talk her." I turn to Jason.

"What are you talking about?" playing dumb, I think he buying it.

"You know what am talking about, I see the way you look at her." he said.

Later we sitting in class, she was passing.

"Hey Alisa! My friend wants to say, Hi." Jason said.

She turned in our direction, shit! What am I gonna do, trying to act busy, I pick up a book and turning the pages, as made her way to us.

She reaches us. "Hi, guys." as she approaches us.

"You remember Andrew right."

"Of course, I never forget a face especially a cute one." she said with soft smile.

Did she just name me cute? She is looked at me with a grin, and I quickly look away shyly, my cheeks turning pink. I don't know why but I can't maintain eye contact with a girl especially one that I really like, I think am erubescent.

"I thought you were only visit?" I said.

"Well, things change and am gonna be here until I graduate." she said.

I felt like everything in my life was possible for the moment, the teacher walked in and everyone walk to were they sat.

"See you." she said with a smile on her, as she walked to her sit.

She is just so pretty. "I think she like you, dude." Jason whispered to me.

"You think so?" I turned to look at him.

"Yeah." Jason with a grin.

Can that be true could a girl like her, fall for someone like me, I mean am boring, am not even handsome.

Later as I made my way to the bus. I heard a voice behind me calling my name.

"Andrew!" I quickly turned to see Alisa running to me, and I stopped to wait for her. She finally caught up to me.

"Hey." she said with a soft smile, as she approaches me.

"Hi, hum..Alisa." I said, anxiously as we walk to the packing lot.

"So how his your friend after that incident?" she asked. Looking at me and I looked away shyly.

"He's not well, he as locked him in his room crying."

"He must really love her." she said. "They have been together since the 4th grade."

"Wish someone could love me that much." She said looking down as looked at her.

"Their is always someone ready to love you, if only you could open your eyes and see that person." I said.

She lift her head, her gaze on me and for the first time, I didn't look away until the last second, we stare at each other for a couple of second until I broke the stare.

"Do you have a girlfriend?" she asked.

"Why?" she asked. I glanced at her, I was silent for a second.

"Well, I've not found the right girl, yet."

"I think, you just haven't being looking." she said.

"What about you, boyfriend."

"Well, I have being in a few relationship, but non as been meaningful." she said looking at me.

"You are really easy to talk." she said.

"you as well." she looked at me and smiled, I returned the smile, we board the bus and we continued talking and felt like I have known her forever, before I knew it the bus arrived at her destination and she was said goodbye, it felt like we've only been on bus for 1min.

"Well, this is me, Could you come over to my place there is something I want you to help me with." she said looking at me.

"See you, later." I said, as she get off the bus, she waved at me and I quickly waved back at her, so that I don't look like a goofball.
