Chapter 9: My heart is broken (Part 1)

"Sorry Liana," Benjamin sighed softly.

Liana cried even louder and continued to cry hysterically. She kept repeating, "Sorry, I'm sorry!" over and over. After some time, she finally lost control over her tears. She continued to cry and cry until she completely stopped. Then she hugged Benjamin's corpse tighter to her chest before falling to the ground.

Nicolás Reed was sitting in her chair, smiling arrogantly. He was still wearing his mask as he was trying to hide his identity.

His opponent was Liana. Both were impatiently waiting for them to start the duel since it was time to start.

"Hey, what are you doing?!" A student angrily yelled at Nicolás Reed after the battle started. "Why are you hiding behind your mask?!"

"Why are you so rude to your enemy!" another student yelled at Nicolás Reed. "You have no right to call yourself the Mask of Silence."

"Yes, you can't call yourself the Mask of Silence because you're not even wearing your mask!" A third student yelled.

Nicolás turned to look at the crowd that surrounded him.

"This guy was the first person to actually attack Liana, but you guys didn't hesitate to defend your own teammate."

"Yes! That makes sense now!" One of the students commented sarcastically. "I thought you liked being invisible!"

The students started laughing at Nicolás Reed. They couldn't believe what they were witnessing. They started calling it names like 'Punishment Squad', 'Death Squad' and 'Criminal Team'. They laughed and made fun of him to relieve the stress they felt inside.

They were afraid of the masked man. They were afraid he would hurt them too or worse. It wasn't fair! None of them could fight back! They had no idea how long he had planned everything. And now it looked like he wasn't planning anything else.

He had killed Benjy and was getting ready to kill Liana too. But instead, he attacked them when he was distracted. How cruel could anyone be?

Nicolás Reed had no intention of taking revenge on the students. He had learned a lesson a long time ago. He was a trained assassin. He had killed people many times before. And he didn't feel guilty about killing these people. They deserved to die. The only thing he regretted was that he took his eyes off Liana for a split second.

But he couldn't change the past. He needed to focus on the now, on finishing his revenge.

when Nicolás Reed goes to deliver the blow to kill Liana, Kenneth Gonzalez kicks Nicolás Reed in the face who is throwing against the wreckage and makes him fall backwards. Kenneth was about to attack Nicolás when someone yells it looks like I arrived at the right time

Kenneth Gonzalez looking back

is the students is also to see

Mornings with red hoodie and arms crossed looking straight at them

Morneiros says do you think it was Nicolás Reed who caused this war, it wasn't me, who caused all this war it was me, I manipulated Nicolás Reed to do what I wanted him to do

the students were all talking to each other about what had happened. They didn't realize that Morneiros was watching them.

Morneiros said they are all fools and fools can never win.

Morneiros said that Nicolás Reed was very close to winning. He told everyone that the masked man would likely strike again and he should have seen the chance he had. He said that Nicolás Reed will kill Liana in an hour.

Nicolás got up quickly from the floor, drenched in blood, coughing violently. His mask was knocked off his head as he fell back. He looked at Liana who was still holding Benjamin's lifeless body in her arms.

Nicolás began to walk towards Liana, slowly approaching her.

Nicolás grabbed Liana's wrist that held Benjamin's body. He pulled her to him as she tried to let go of his hand.

"Let me go!" she screamed.

"No. You belong to me now." he growled.

he lifted Liana's hand in the air.

then he released Liana's wrist as she fell back. She looked at Nicolás, who was about to take her down.

She tried to scream, "Nicolás! Please! Don't do this!"

Kenneth gonzalez tried to attack Nicolás Reed, but was stopped by

Morners who kicked his belly that made Kenneth Gonzalez back off a bit.

After Liana got to her feet once more, she ran and grabbed a large rock next to her.

she threw it towards Nicolás. When the stone hit Nicolás' shoulder, he grunted in pain and anger as he tried to get away from the stone and Liana. However, the stone trapped his foot. Nicolás stumbled.

When he lost his grip on the rock, it landed on top of his back. Nicolás screamed in pain, which made Liana run to him with tears streaming down her face. She knelt beside him and helped him sit up.

Morneiros smiled at Liana and walked towards her. He caught her by the neck, slamming her against a tree trunk.

She coughed hard trying to catch her breath. She gasped for breath as her throat tightened in agony. Blood began to drip onto her chin as her fingers gripped her neck tightly in an attempt to remove the overwhelming sensation of suffocation and suffocation.

Nicolás was standing a few meters away, staring. He couldn't get close.

Liana's vision began to fade until all she saw was the blurred silhouette of Morneiros above her. There was no light around her, except for a bright spot in the distance where the sun was shining.

Kenneth Gonzalez went to

Morneiros tried to hit him with a punch, but Morneiros dodged and recoiled from Liana's body.

Morneiros turned to face Kenneth. Kenneth jumped back and moved to the side as Morneiros swung again. Again and again, Morneiros attacked Kenneth's face. Each time the attack was blocked, Ken approached Morneiros.

Eventually, Morneiros pulled away from Kenneth and grabbed his leg, pulling him forward.

Kenneth groaned in pain as he fell forward. Morneiros followed quickly and punched Kenneth in the head. Kenneth staggered forward, falling to the ground and leaving him breathless as he fell to the ground.

Kenneth gasped in pain as Morneiros kicked Kenneth in the ribs with his foot.

Then Morneiros lifted Ken into the air while holding him tight. Morneros shook Kenneth's face several times with his fist before slamming Kenneth to the ground with his knee again.

Kenneth screamed in pain as he lay on the floor.

Morneiros smiled as he looked at Kenneth's broken body. Then he walked away from him without another word. He left Kenneth alone on the ground, bleeding profusely from the wounds he received from previous Morneiros attacks.

Morneiros was at Liana's side. He leaned over her lifeless body and whispered in her ear. Liana didn't respond.

He then turned to Nikolás Reed. "What you want?" He asked. "I already took care of your brother. Why don't you tell me something useful?"

Nikolas Reed glared at Morneiros, his hands clenched into fists. "You murdered my best friend. Now, you will pay for that crime." He stated darkly as he advanced on him.

Morneiros smiled slightly as he waited for Nikolás Reed to approach. When Nikolas Reed did so, a man appears before them and says he comes from this war.

Morneiros looked at the surprised man and Nicolás Reed too

the man is the leader of the military college the name is Huguel Herinque (the German language)

Huguel Herinque was the director of the university

Huguel Herinque lived a relatively peaceful life and did not expect to come into conflict with the students involved in Liana and Nicolás' plan. However, after hearing the words said earlier and seeing the way Hugo interacted with Liana, he knew he wouldn't let Nicolás and the rest get away so easily.

Huguel Herinque had witnessed the events that took place during the battle that was taking place in front of him. It was clear that Nicolas Reed was the attacker, and his actions towards him confirmed this. However, he was not the only one affected by what happened, as the students involved in that battle and those in the other groups shared a similar fate. Everyone became possessed and lost the reason to live or the ability to move on.

Huguel Herinque looks at Nicolas Reed with his penetrating gaze. It's almost as if he can see right through your soul. Even if the boy is not aware of it, he can feel that Hugo Herinque has some kind of connection with the teenager. Hugo Herinque's eyes widen slightly when he realizes that he sees Nicolás' pupils dilate slightly.

Huguel looked at everyone there and said in a serious tone.

Huguel Herinque says that if you dare to continue this war, you will have to fight me
