Sakubara Kokichi is the leader of the Green Valley School for Boys, or at least that is what everyone tells him he is, he isn't sure why exactly they would be lying but it can't be anything good since there are more than 10 years between them so he is still the youngest member of the group, not to mention that the school has been going downhill ever since Kageyama Tobio joined a few months ago. The entire campus is basically dead, students aren't able to go out as often due to the school's strict rules and regulations, there are too many dangerous people walking around campus to allow anyone to just walk out like they did when Sakubara was young. It has become so bad now that the Green Valley School for Boys has lost its popularity due to all the people who want to join the school after finding out about the danger in it.

It seems like everything has gone back to normal once Tobio joined, everyone started acting like nothing had happened during Sakubara's time of glory, they all acted like Tobio was no more then another boy joining up the same place as him, they seemed happy with how things went but Sakubara knew that deep down in their heart they missed him as well as the old days where the Green Valley School for Boys were still famous even if most people thought they weren't anymore. He could remember clearly when their fame was at its peak; he remembers all of the parties they threw every Saturday night and how everyone had to dress up to attend the party. Their parents loved them so much they never asked any of the teenagers who were attending to get an abortion which is something you don't see often nowadays, they always gave their permission without any questions asked and they always treated them as equals. When they became idols Sakubara had no choice but to change his life drastically as soon as it was time for them to start training. His life wasn't meant for partying and socializing every night but he didn't care because he was still getting money from the money his parents made. After a while though Sakubara noticed that the fame didn't mean as much to him as it used to and it was starting to make him bitter, especially since some of the boys he met in the past were no longer considered popular due to the rumors surrounding them, his friends stopped inviting him out, instead they would invite Tobio or some random guy Sakubara had never seen before, it seemed like nobody wanted him anymore and that was okay but sometimes that made him feel lonely despite knowing that they still talked on the phone. They were the closest thing Sakubara had in the world besides his parents and that made him feel better, he didn' t mind the silence he received from them because he knew that even though they didn' t want him he was always welcome to visit them whenever he felt like it. But right now, he really wished that he had somebody to confide in and even though the feeling wasn't mutual he appreciated the thought.

A loud knock came across his door and he immediately recognized the voice that called out for him which told him that it was time to start practice, he stood up and opened his bedroom window which allowed him to jump outside of his room onto the ground and start running through the neighborhood. After running for about ten minutes he arrived at the gym and went inside to take his usual spot next to his teammates who were talking animatedly over what they'd done during practice that day; this year they were practicing the volleyball skills that none of them had learned back in their school days. He smiled as he watched them talk over what they've learned and tried not to listen in as it reminded him too much of himself when he first began playing the sport; this team would be disbanded within a couple weeks but at least he knew they wouldn't stop talking about it until then.

After the practice was over Sakubara walked slowly towards home, he felt exhausted from doing the same things everyday, he couldn't wait to have a restful sleep. Before heading to his house though he turned towards his old school which sat a bit farther away but still close enough to run if he needed to. As far as he remembered that place was a mess that almost no one used, it was surrounded by forests which was good because when he ran past it all the other students would try and hide behind trees and bushes trying to avoid him, it annoyed him to no end because it wasn't fair that everybody else got to stay in their nice houses while he had to keep moving forward through the forest until he found the road leading to his house. It took him a lot of effort to climb all those trees, even though it didn't hurt him physically he could feel how sore he was after climbing them and he definitely deserved the break that was about to come. He looked up to check if any cars passed him by on his way to his house before turning away and making his way towards the tree line which led to his house. A small smile appeared on his face at the thought of finally being able to relax again before disappearing when something in front of him caught his attention.

There was an abandoned playground not too far away from his house, the structure itself looked old and rundown but judging from how many times he had played here he knew that the whole thing was in decent condition. He walked carefully towards the playground wondering why someone would leave such a great playground unattended, surely they wouldn't need it as long as the weather was nice? He reached the base of the slide, he knew he had forgotten his book bag somewhere inside but the only places that would be able to hold it were either the classroom, his mom's study room or the living room, so where could his bag have gone? Maybe the park ranger left it on purpose knowing that no one was allowed near the playground except for the teachers and maybe even adults? He shrugged his shoulders deciding to put the thought out of his mind and continue on his way, his mother would probably scold him for being late anyways.
