Can Spider-Man Fall to His Death?

The various challenges Peter faced naturally brought immense pressure. However, being lively, optimistic, and cheerful from a young age, Peter Parker dreamed of becoming a hero like Iron Man or Captain America, whose mission was to save the world.

So, even though he felt weighed down, he was also pretty excited.

Especially after watching videos of the other two Spider-Man predecessors. Seeing their heroic deeds, Peter became even more thrilled and firmly believed that when he grew up, he, too, could become a highly respected hero.

But then, after seeing his own future actions in the Quiz game, the young Peter couldn't help but feel ashamed of himself.

Comparison can be cruel. Even without comparing himself to the older generation of superheroes like Iron Man and Captain America, he couldn't match up to the other two Spider-Man predecessors. His performance simply wasn't up to par.

With a dejected face, young Peter muttered, "I think I've embarrassed Spider-Man."

"Uh..."

Stephen Strange, not very skilled at comforting kids, awkwardly scratched his beard and said softly, "No, you're still young. Whether it's you now or the future you in the video, you're just a kid who hasn't grown up yet.

"Listen, Peter. You don't need to compare yourself to others, even Spider-Men from other worlds. Just focus on being yourself. As long as you have a kind and righteous heart, believe in yourself—you'll definitely become a hero who saves the world one day!"

Doctor Strange's dry words of encouragement didn't exactly resonate, but young Peter, being his optimistic self, quickly shook off his gloom, nodded, and smiled. "Thank you! I'll work hard and definitely not let everyone down!"

However, in the video, his future self did let his classmates down. Trapped in a disaster response warehouse, he missed the next day's trivia competition.

To make matters worse, he learned from the AI assistant that the energy core he had taken from a smuggling gang was highly unstable. If exposed to radiation, it could explode at any moment!

This terrified Peter because his best friend, Ned, had been carrying that energy core in his backpack—completely unaware it was essentially a ticking time bomb.

Peter immediately tried calling his friend to warn him, but the signal in the warehouse was terrible. Unable to get through, Peter had to find another way. He began trying to hack the warehouse doors.

After some struggle, he managed to open them. But by then, Ned, Liz, and the other classmates had already won the trivia competition and were touring the memorial hall.

The dangerous energy core in Ned's backpack passed through an X-ray scanner, just as the AI assistant had warned. Under the radiation, the core became highly unstable. Moments after entering the elevator, the core disrupted the system. Thankfully, it didn't explode outright—only the elevator system failed.

When Peter rushed to the scene, he learned that his classmates, including Liz, were trapped in the elevator. Without hesitation, he prepared to save them, scaling the tall monument.

At this moment, the AI assistant reminded him that the parachute in his suit hadn't been reset. If he fell from such a height, given his current skill level, it would be fatal. He'd end up as nothing more than a splattered mess.

Outside the video, some of the audience groaned in disappointment.

"You've got to be kidding me. Spider-Man falling to his death? Were the other two Spider-Men fake or something?"

"Give him a break; he's just a kid!"

"But the other two were also kids! Don't forget, this Spider-Man even has Iron Man's suit with over 500 web combinations. Are you seriously telling me none of those can help him land safely? Honestly, this Spider-Man just feels too weak."

Thanks to the prior impressions left by Spider-Men 1 and 3, audiences had come to associate Spider-Man with the image of a carefree, agile urban acrobat.

Especially Spider-Man 3 (Garfield's version), who left a lasting impression with his smooth, stylish web-swinging through city skyscrapers. How could such a Spider-Man ever worry about falling to his death?

Of course, more rational viewers weren't too harsh on this version of Spider-Man. They recognized that superheroes grow over time. Clearly, this second Spider-Man was still immature in many ways, but his pure heart remained steadfast.

In the video, young Peter didn't hesitate. At the top of the monument, he began swinging like a pendulum, using his momentum to break through a window and enter the building. He arrived just in time to save his trapped classmates and teachers before the elevator could plummet.

Finally, after a series of struggles and failures, Peter managed to accomplish something heroic.

Naturally, if he had sealed the moment with a romantic kiss with his crush Liz—hanging upside down with his web like the previous Spider-Men—it would've been perfect. Romantic even.

But sadly, he messed up. Despite his spider-sense, whether due to nerves or excitement, he failed to notice the web snapping, sending him tumbling out of the elevator. Fortunately, the height was manageable, and he landed safely.

Outside the video, young Peter cheered excitedly. "Ha! I knew I could do it! I saved them! I finally didn't mess up this time!"

Pietro Maximoff chuckled and praised, "Not bad, kid. You're on your way to becoming a real hero. We all believe in you."

Following the elevator rescue incident, Spider-Man didn't completely dismantle the smuggling gang, but he proved himself and gained some fame.

Meanwhile, Adrian Toomes, furious over Spider-Man's repeated interference, was even more determined to eliminate the annoying hero. The destruction caused by Peter had cut off their access to the high-tech 'junk' they'd been salvaging, leaving Toomes no choice but to take action.

Peter, unwilling to give up, decided to strike while the iron was hot. He aimed to completely dismantle the smuggling gang, hoping that doing so would earn the Avengers' approval and get him invited to their new base—so he wouldn't have to go back to school.

It seemed that even superheroes, at this age, couldn't escape the universal dislike for school.

Soon, Peter uncovered a crucial lead. He tracked down a low-level member of the smuggling operation, who revealed that Toomes' next move would involve a weapon deal aboard a cruise ship. Without hesitation, Peter set off. Using his suit's surveillance features, he caught the smuggling crew red-handed.

Just as Peter was about to act, Tony called, praising his bravery during the monument rescue.
