Dare to Hang Up on Iron Man?

When viewers saw Iron Man praising Spider-Man in the video, they were all a bit surprised.

After all, everyone knows what Tony Stark is like—a proud and egotistical man. Getting him to say something nice is no easy feat. This showed just how much he truly valued Spider-Man, treating him almost like his own child.

On-screen, Tony had a fatherly expression as he said, "My father never helped me. I'm breaking that toxic cycle."

However, much to his dismay, his rare compliment went unappreciated.

Spider-Man, busy dealing with a weapons smuggling gang, simply hung up on him.

What followed was a more detailed version of the ferry fight scene that had been shown in the earlier quiz game. Spider-Man first took down some small-time thugs with a few swift punches and kicks before facing off against the Vulture.

At this point, the Vulture wasn't wearing his winged suit, giving Spider-Man his first look at his true face. It was a golden opportunity—without his wings, the Vulture had no way to escape.

But just as Peter was about to make his move, the situation took a sudden turn. A group of armed civilians stormed in, pointing their guns at Spider-Man while shouting, "FBI!"

Peter panicked and instinctively asked what was going on. His AI assistant quickly explained, but Adrian didn't waste any time. He immediately summoned his hidden winged suit, transformed in the blink of an eye, and dived straight through the FBI's ambush.

What followed was a showdown between the Vulture and Spider-Man. The Vulture used his aerial advantage to suppress Spider-Man from above. But Spider-Man gradually learned how to use the features of his suit, eventually shooting webs to snatch the energy gun from the Vulture's hands. Along the way, he even managed to send a pulse of electricity through the web, momentarily stunning the Vulture and successfully disarming him.

However, the energy gun turned out to be highly unstable. After hitting the ground, it bounced erratically and began firing uncontrollable energy waves. The once-solid steel of the ferry was shredded as if it were mere paper.

In a panic, Spider-Man kept shooting webs to try and wrap the malfunctioning weapon, but his efforts only seemed to aggravate it further.

Unable to stop the energy gun, Peter could only watch helplessly as it overloaded, splitting the ferry in two with a massive surge of energy.

The Vulture, of course, seized the opportunity to escape. He even managed to rescue his accomplices, leaving the mess entirely for Spider-Man to clean up.

Off-screen, Stephen Strange facepalmed and sighed. "Why didn't you just use your webs to stick it and toss it into the ocean? You had enough time to react… Forget it, Peter. I'm not blaming you. I'm just saying you still have a lot to learn. No matter what you're doing, think things through a bit more before acting."

The young Peter scratched his head awkwardly, clearly embarrassed.

Pietro chimed in to defend him, saying, "He's just a kid. It's normal for him to make mistakes."

Honestly, the disappointment that Strange and some others felt toward Spider-Man mostly came down to comparisons.

The two previous Spider-Men, though not without flaws, had displayed far more capability—even when measured against other seasoned superheroes. This made the current Spider-Man's performance look lackluster by comparison.

In the video, the ferry was still splitting apart due to the unstable energy gun. With many passengers onboard, a complete split would likely send everyone into the depths of the ocean.

Although Peter could be reckless at times, he didn't hesitate when it mattered. With his AI assistant's help, he scanned the ferry to identify key structural points and started firing webs to hold the split sections together. At that moment, he finally showed glimpses of what it meant to be Spider-Man.

After a lot of effort, he managed to temporarily stabilize the ferry, earning applause and cheers from the passengers.

But the moment didn't last long. Just as the crowd celebrated, the webs snapped under the strain. Water gushed into the ferry as terrified screams echoed.

In a desperate move, Spider-Man jumped down, firing webs with both hands to hold the two halves of the ferry together with sheer strength.

This scene reminded many of the iconic train-stopping moment from the first Spider-Man. Although the young Spider-Man in the video had made many mistakes, his heroic spirit was undeniable.

At that point, the video paused, and a new question appeared on screen:

[ Can Peter Parker/Spider-Man save the ferry? Hint: This is a rapid-response question.]

[A: Yes.

B: No.]

Stephen Strange raised an eyebrow and glanced at the young Peter. "Hey, Peter, can we count on you?"

Peter's face turned red. Seeing his future self mess up so badly left him feeling mortified. He opened his mouth, wanting to say "Of course," but in the end, he shook his head. "I-I don't know. I might let everyone down again. I really don't know… but I'll give it everything I've got. I promise!"

"You can do it!" Pietro said without hesitation. "We've all seen your determination, Peter. Don't put too much pressure on yourself. Everyone makes mistakes. Even the mighty Thor has had his embarrassing moments—like when Banner knocked him out cold. You think your little slip-ups are worse than that?"

Stephen rolled his eyes. "Pietro, you really like tempting fate, huh? I bet Thor heard that. Be ready to deal with his pink hammer when we get back."

Peter laughed nervously but seemed to regain some confidence. "Alright, I believe in myself too… So, do we pick A?"

Stephen shrugged. "Sure. I don't see a problem. Even if you can't handle it, isn't that what backup is for?"

When the timer started, both teams rushed to hit their buzzers. Team B managed to answer first. Strange chose A, while Erik from Team A selected B, clearly lacking faith in Peter.

As the timer ended, the correct answer was revealed:

[Team B answered incorrectly. Player Stephen Strange, player Peter Parker, and player Pietro Maximoff each lose 4 points. Congratulations to Team A for answering correctly. Player Erik lenhenserr, Charles Xavier, and Logan Howlett each gain 1 point!]
