Once, while wandering in the Immortal World, I met a mad alchemist. He had a poor talent for cultivation, but was very afraid of death. Because of this, he tried to create an artificial body with body parts from others, and supplement this with parts from special trees.
The problem, however, is that to do this he killed and experimented on countless mortals and thousands of cultivators. What I ended up finding him is that he attracted a lot of attention, and since I had nothing to do, I ended up going to see what he was doing.
What I wanted to do now, was to create a body made out of a tree for this little ball of light. I knew what she was feeling, and I know that if someone could have helped me back then, I would not have become what I am today.
Knowing what to do, I began to circulate my spiritual energy as much as possible. Although I had read the alchemist's notes after killing him, there were many differences. The first is that the entire thesis is based on the use of Ki.
The second, but no less important, is that it would require human body parts. I didn't have Ki, so that would be the first problem I would have to solve.
Circulating the spiritual energy as fast as I could, I felt my veins and arteries aching, as if they were going to explode.
But I didn't give up. I'm going to save this cute little ball of light!
When my spiritual energy was spinning as fast as it could, I sent it to the ground to do the first part of the plan. From the ground, a tree began to sprout. The tree didn't grow much, however.
When it reached 6 inches (15.24 centimeters), it stopped growing. It seems that I am still very weak. Even using takes my spiritual energy, it's still not enough.
Forcing my energy out even faster, I felt my body creak and complain of pain, but I didn't care. When my energy came out in larger amounts, the small tree began to take on a humanoid form.
My eyes began to bleed, and seeming to awaken from its previous state, the little ball of light finally noticed what was happening, and came quickly to my side to see what was happening. I could feel its concern. Silly little creature... you can't have feelings for someone you have just met.
Something in my body seemed to break, every second I forced my spiritual energy out and into the little humanoid creature, the more pain I felt.
The little creature, unlike all the trees in this underground world, was a healthy brown color. It had no facial features apart from glossy black eyes, a mouth without lips, and two small dots that served as a nose.
Ok... even though it had no more spiritual energy, the first form was a partial success. I thought I would create a fierce humanoid creature 32 feet (9.75 m) tall, and what came out was a 6 inch (15.24 cm) wooden doll, it's all good.
Now for the second part. Taking a breath of cold air to try to replenish some spiritual energy, I prepared to speak to the little ball of light. At that moment, the earth shook.
BOOOOOOM
The bastard arrived. The earth shook violently, just by him coming down onto the plain behind my back. Stopping to waste time focusing my attention on that ugly thing, I gathered what little spiritual energy I could and sent the little ball of light my intentions. It trembled slightly, I don't know whether from fear, apprehension or excitement.
After understanding my intentions, the little ball of light entered the small humanoid body, There was an extremely thin line that connected the little ball of light to that tree.
This part was not described in the crazy alchemist's notes, but I wondered what it was. It was what connected the tree to the little ball of light.
The surrounding tremors were getting stronger, the screams of the beasts louder, and the smell of blood more pungent, but I couldn't care less about that now.
Enduring the pain in my body that only increased, I set out for the second part of the mad alchemist's notes. Releasing the vomit that I had held back until now, I vomited on the wooden humanoid figure.
There were bits of internal organs and blood. They were not from beasts I had eaten, but they were mine. The excessive effort even after being wounded by that Moon Gorilla, the erratic blows I suffered in the war, and last but not least, the excessive use of spiritual energy. All this together took its toll.
When the blood and pieces of my internal organs fell into the little humanoid figure, like a sponge, it absorbed everything without letting a drop of blood escape.
When all this happened, the little ball of light began to become erratic, and soon began to spin rapidly, wanting to merge with the little wooden humanoid figure.
BOOOOM
At that moment, a 13 foot (3.96 m) high rock fell on the tree, knocking it over. Realizing that I had no time to wait for the little ball of light to adapt, I used my soul power. A mysterious power that, even in the Immortal World, one doesn't have much idea how to use.
My soul power was spent and exhausted. But there was no time to think about it. If I decided that I would save the little ball of light, I would do it.
Extracting every drop of soul power I could, I cut the thin luminescent line that connected the little ball of light to the tree. Grasping the small humanoid figure in my mouth, I moved quickly into the neutral zone, as far away from the colossal magical beast as possible.
Just in time, I could see another figure flying above the tall trees, another figure of considerable size.
I couldn't notice much about it, though. My vision was dimming. My soul, which was healing, returned to its previous state. And my body ached everywhere.
But I would make it. Who do they think I am to die in a place like this? If they want to kill me, they will have to send a pantheon of gods, or all the demons of the 18 layers of the underworld!
