On the night of the Auspice celebration, I was kept away from Victor and the other males that were eighteen this year. Not seeing Victor for an entire day was so strange by now.

I sighed and shook my head. “I was just wondering what Victor was up to,” I admitted.

“What about these?” Emerald asked, holding a pair of pearl earrings to my ears.
