Chapter 47: The Wolf Atlas

Tara’s POV

We had gotten out of bed half an hour later than we expected to, and by the time we had left the room and were ready enough to face everything that was awaiting us outside of the bedroom door, Victor and I were swept off our feet.

Hendrix had already compiled a list of things that Victor had to set in order, signatures and approvals and meetings that he had had to attend with varying members of the pack in varying different levels.

For the most part there wasn’t much paperwork on my end, the official titles and deeds and things that belonged to that category were all Victor’s responsibility. But when I had finished with the things I was assigned to do and went to find him, I found a lot more than what I expected.

He was in a meeting of sorts, or that was what it seemed like for the most part. I found him outside in one of the passageways that connected one half the pack house to the other, he was in one of the smaller courtyards speaking to a group of people.
