Chapter 103: A Luna’s Job

Victor’s POV

“Is everything set?”

I looked up as I saw Axel and Evan enter the room.

“Are you sure this is a good idea?” My head snapped to the members of the elder council as one of them spoke up. “I mean going into the lion’s den… it’s not something we would advise as our first plan of action.”

“And what would you advise?” I asked. “What would you have told my father to do in this situation?”

“To wait,” another one of them said. “To fortify your defenses, to gather the women and children closer to the main house so that we may protect them inside of the walls instead of out, scattered in their homes. Sidus attacked here once, he’s been an ally to this lands and knows the layout– he will be able to form a strategic attack. So the only way–”

“The only way to combat that is to attack him in a way that he would not expect.” I shot back. “To attack him where he is.”

“But we’re not sure we know where that is, exactly, do we?” another shot out.
