Chapter 102: This Anger That Controls Us

Tara’s POV

All of my anger over the past few days boiled up, and threatened to spill over. I had kept to myself, trying to maintain the peace between us. But now, I wasn’t so sure I could hold onto it anymore.

“Why don’t you tell me the real reason why you’re pissed off at me?” I asked him.

Victor only shook his head. “I’m not pissed off at you, Tara.”

“Really?” I asked him with a scoff. “Because you see, when I ignore someone who wants to talk to me, barely look at them, don’t come to bed at night to sleep next to the person I supposedly love, that would mean I was at least a little bit peeved off at them—but hey, maybe that’s just me.”

“You’re having an attitudem” Victor said, taking a step closer toward me. “Stop it. It isn’t like that.”
