Chapter 193: Mother, Hello

Tara’s POV

I was dreaming again, as I often did. Yet, a fight was raging in front of me of the likes I had never seen before. Gold and fire danced like the southern lights, together, and then apart, and then at times where you, as the observer, couldn’t hope to imagine to understand what was transpiring between the two of them.

There were no grunts, no pants, no sounds of swords clashing, yet there was an unmistakable sound of magic that ruffled the air and left me breathless. I could not discern who was fighting who, or smell any hint of fear or victory on either side.

These were gods fighting, so I would have assumed, and there was nothing akin to the human spirited that existed between them. If not gods, then the servants of one, and if not the servants, then the squires.
