Charm of David Black.

Chloe looked at the red circle —the one she made — on her calendar. Sunday, to be exact. The day when Chloe will play David's love for one full day. Even though David's request sounds ridiculous, Chloe is also curious about what it's like to be the lover of David Black. And Chloe wanted to know.

After the last class of the day finished, Chloe went to the library to fill her free time. Honestly, she felt a little nervous waiting for tomorrow. It's not like a normal date. This date is different and thrilling.

Chloe didn't even tell Allan about her date with David. I don't know what reaction Allan will give when he finds out, she has to keep it a secret until the end.

Chloe randomly picked up one of the books on the library shelf. She turned the book over to reveal the front cover.

Oh, that's right. A book about 'characteristics of a man who has feelings for you sincerely'.

Chloe glared at the book, cursing softly. Fate seemed to be teasing her, even at the last moment. Chloe quickly put the book back on the bookshelf, but immediately she pulled it back.

Begging no one to see her reading the forbidden book, Chloe went to the corner of the room and squirmed against the wall. She sat cross-legged, put the bag on the floor, and began to turn to the first page of the book.

Chloe swallowed hard. Skip the introduction, the list of titles, then the prologue until you start reading the beginning of the chapter.

"Here you are."

Chloe gasped in surprise. She looked up quickly and found a pair of brown eyes staring at her with a friendly look. That's Allan Odour, her Boyfriend.

"Allan?"

"You look serious. What book are you reading?" Allan bent down, about to look at the book Chloe was reading, but the girl immediately closed it.

"It's nothing," Chloe quickly put the book into her bag. "What are you doing here?"

Allan frowned. Chloe's attitude seemed odd, but she tried to ignore it. "Take this book. I have work to do," he said, showing two thick red and white books in his right hand. "Do you have time tomorrow? How about we go out? There's a place I want to show you."

Unlucky. Why are they both so compact to ask out together?

"Sorry I can't. There's something I have to do. Something urgent," she lied. She avoided Allan's eyes.

Hopefully, Chloe doesn't get punished for going out with guys who try to get close to her, while she already has a boyfriend.

"Oh, okay. All right, we can go another time."

"Yes, I will make up for it. I promise," Chloe said, smiling awkwardly.

Chloe peeked at Allan and Quil from her bedroom window. Luckily the man went to accompany Quil to pick up some of his belongings that were still at home. Chloe didn't have to bother with meeting David in secret. Now, it's time for Chloe to get ready!

Tin-tin!

Chloe immediately looked out the window and found David already leaning against the car, waiting for her. Chloe immediately grabbed her bag and rushed downstairs to meet David.

When David saw Chloe through the door, he walked over to her and gave her a warm hug that morning. Don't forget a quick kiss on the forehead.

"Morning, sweetie,"

Chloe immediately blushed. She couldn't hide her surprise but joy when she saw how sweet David was to her. Oh, don't forget the beautiful sight before Chloe's eyes right now. David looked so handsome even though he was only wearing a plain black shirt with the top button open — revealing a white t-shirt under his shirt. His arms were rolled up to his elbows so that David's muscular muscles were clearly visible.

My goodness, since when did David look so seductive, Chloe thought to herself.

"Morning, David."

"Ready to be my lover for a whole day?" asked David enthusiastically. Chloe responded with a sweet smile. "Come in," he motioned for Chloe to get into the car by opening the door.

Although David is handsome and has a good sense of fashion, Chloe just realized that David has thick eyebrows, firm facial lines, and charming blue eyes.

"Is there something on my face?" David turned to Chloe.

Chloe laughed. She was caught red-handed looking at David who was driving. Oh, how embarrassed Chloe is right now. "Nothing, it's just...."

"Do I look cool?" continued David, teasingly. He gave Chloe a smirk.

"Oh, you started again,"

David laughed. "Today we are lovers, so take it easy, Chloe. Forget for a moment if you already have a lover and assume that I am your real lover." He grabbed Chloe's hand and kissed the back of her hand gently.

Chloe was taken aback, not knowing what to do. She could only stare at David in disbelief and confusion.

"Say whatever you think and do whatever you want to do with me. Today, I am completely yours."

Chloe nodded. She blushed. Felt strange with the word 'mine' that David threw at her. In general, the word implies possession unofficially. She said it so confidently, and without realizing it, Chloe liked him.

"Say something, Chloe. Do you like it or not? Are you angry or—"

"No. No, David," said Chloe, cutting David off. She bit her lower lip and said with an embarrassed face, "I like it."

The two of them arrived at Shady Beach, Saint Clair, Missouri, and entered an area overgrown with towering trees. David stopped the car under one of the trees by the lake. He pressed a button and the roof of the car suddenly opened

"This is amazing," Chloe stood up to take in the scenery around her. Everything is filled with trees and lakes that have various branches.

"Seeing the happy expression on your face. I didn't choose this place in vain. That is right?" he asked. He started to open the car door. Take a bed made of wicker in the back seat.

Chloe got out of the car and glanced at the basket that David was carrying. "Like a family picnic. Have you prepared all of this from scratch?"

"Everything has been arranged. We just have to enjoy the day and have fun." David took Chloe's hand and held it gently. "Of course without any interference from others," he added with a grin.

"You kicked everyone out?" she exclaimed in disbelief.

"Not expelling, my dear. Only renting this place for a whole day."

"You're crazy, David,"
