Her Feeling has Changed.

"Chloe..."

"Chloe..." Allan spoke again in a rather loud voice. However, there was no response from the owner of the name.

"Chloe!"

Chloe's thoughts were interrupted by Allan's loud voice calling her name. Jerking in surprise, her head turned to Allan quickly. Chloe saw the annoyed glint in Allan's beautiful eyes. "Oh, sorry."

"What are you doing, Chloe... I've called you three times, but you haven't heard at all." Even though Allan was so annoyed at Chloe that he had ignored her since their arrival at the cafe. Allan tried to quell his annoyance by forcing himself to smile. "You've been daydreaming ever since. If you have a problem, tell me so I can help you."

Chloe's hand brushed her hair behind her ear. She looked at Allan with a guilty expression on er face. "I'm fine. Just feeling unwell."

"Do we need to go back?" Allan asked concernedly. Although, he knew that Chloe wasn't really feeling unwell. It's just a cliché excuse that everyone says to escape reality.

"No, I'm fine. We just came, I don't want us…." Chloe fell silent. Saw Allan again and blinked her eyes. She didn't want to disappoint Allan by being unfair to him. Allan is her lover. It would be inappropriate if she kept it quiet, even though Allan had done nothing wrong.

"Okay… Tell me if you want to go back. I don't want you to get sick." Allan said calmly. "How's David?" Allan asked bluntly.

Chloe was silent. Hesitating to speak up. Somehow the man knew that she was visiting David. "David is fine," she said hoarsely. Guilt enveloped Chloe's heart again.

"Chloe, I don't want to make things awkward between us. Or I'm trying to be possessive of you. I just don't like you being around David, even if you don't mean to." Obviously Allan. The words just came out of nowhere. The thing he had wanted to say to Chloe for a long time.

"What do you mean?" Chloe didn't seem to like the way Allan said what he said.

"You know very well what I'm talking about. The man likes you. I know. Very well known from the first time he saw it... when that person behaved more towards you. I'm pretty sure that person has already confessed his love for you."

"Allan, that person is David. He's my brother's best friend. And he is also my friend. David has been with me for a long time. And, what do you mean about his feelings for me? You think I have the same feelings for him, don't you?" Chloe's voice rose. It felt like a pile of resentment was building up when Allan referred to David with the word 'that person over and over again.

"Why do you think I'm behaving like this?" But the truth is, that Allan has some distrust of his own lover.

"You think David will take me from you?" Chloe shouted. "David's not that low Allan!" Her voice rose. It sounded like someone's scream of annoyance.

Allan laughed. Can't believe Chloe would be this angry with him. Regarding the matter of David having feelings for Chloe.

"David really likes me. But, he wasn't someone who would do anything underhand to get what he wanted. I know him more than you." Chloe said. She didn't care about the eyes of the people who were looking at her. "I hope you don't act like this again, Allan..."

Chloe's return from the cafe became their last scheduled date for the day. They should be spending time together until nightfall. But Chloe chose to go home in the late afternoon and kept herself silent the whole way home.

Allan noticed Chloe's angry attitude. He knew very well that his lover had a very bad temper. Just shut up and let Chloe have a little time to cool her head. Chloe will return to her usual Chloe. I hope so.

Usually, Chloe would say goodnight and let Allan kiss her forehead, and then go to their respective rooms. But tonight not. Not after their little fight about David. To be honest, Allan had a fear that one day Chloe would like him.

David Black. A rich man who has a myriad of achievements—either in the business world or the world of love—while Allan has nothing. Who wouldn't be afraid if their lover was liked by a man like David? The two of them had even known each other for a long time, more than Allan had known Chloe.

As the old saying goes; Love can be present at any time without us knowing where it came from.

What Chloe was thinking and what Chloe was feeling right now, was something that was confusing. Since the incident where one day she became David's lover. The man never reappeared. Not to just call and ask how they are.

Chloe feels lost when the figure of David disappears from her life. When the first and last kiss David gave that night. Chloe knew she would never be able to bring back the times she had with David. When the man treats her gently and attentively. Chloe seemed like the only special girl David had treated like that.

There were times when Chloe would miss David. And the next time, she was sad because she couldn't see him anymore. All she could do was look at the photo of the two of them. Smiling alone like a fool and cursing David —as if the man was in front of her — or looking at the 'love' shaped stone that was specially given to her. Stroking it like that was a sacred thing that would make David come back to her. Then, in the end, Chloe got angry inexplicably because nothing happened while she was doing all these silly things.

Her behavior did not stop there. When she was at her saturation point, she would see the clothes David had bought her instead at Shady Beach. There was the smell of David's body there that remained. And that made Chloe even crazier.

One week has passed since that night. There was a change in her. Chloe didn't know what it was. Several times she felt angry with herself for ignoring Allan for no reason. Silent like a statue in the room and sighed.

For no reason, Chloe would refuse Allan's invitation to go out together. And when the class session on campus is over. Chloe prefers to go to the library to spend some time. There was no intention for her to go home together and go to the cafe like she did every time she was with Allan.

Farren and Rayana have returned from their honeymoon. Haven't had time to visit Chloe because of the piled-up office work, after being left by Farren for a long time. Rayana was told to stay at home to take care of her pregnancy, which was about to turn 2 months old.
