Get Caught.

"Farren!" Chloe burst into Farren's arms like a baby who had not seen her mother in a long time.

Farren hugged Chloe tightly. Sweeping Chloe's back with a warm hug. He let go and kissed Chloe's forehead with a gentle smile. "How are you, sweetie?"

"Too perfect to question," said Chloe with a smile. "Rayana, I really miss you," she said hugging Rayana tightly. Rayana hugged back with a big smile.

"We bought the gifts you ordered," Rayana said pointing to the large bag Farren was carrying.

"Thanks!"

Rayana sat on the edge of the bed, while Farren sat on the chair that Chloe had brought. They chatted a lot after Farren had looked around the room. Every now and then, he would comment on Chloe's apartment is too small, or some items that looked worn and unusable, but Chloe insisted on staying there.

"As long as I'm gone, you don't cause any trouble, right?" asked Farren referring to David.

"Of course not. You can ask David directly...." Chloe didn't continue her sentence. She was silent for a long time before finally getting up the courage to ask how David was. "Did David not come here?"

"We contacted him, but he was busy taking care of the launch of his new game," replied Rayana. This morning, she called David and the man said he was very busy.

"Oh," Chloe lowered her head wearily. She hadn't seen David's face in the last few days, not even a word. Too cowardly to contact David.

"You guys fight?" said Farren when he saw Chloe's strange attitude.

"What? No, we didn't fight." Chloe immediately looked at Farren with a nervous look.

While they were chatting, Rayana suddenly asked Farren to buy some food outside. Farren obeyed and left, while Rayana and Chloe were left in the apartment.

Rayana moved closer to Chloe and held her hands. "Tell me, did something happen between you and David?"

"What? Nothing happened between us. Why are you suddenly asking this?" Chloe asked to stutter.

"I can see it, Chloe. David's eyes on you are different, I realized that a long time ago. Tell me, Chloe, I promise I won't say anything to Farren," Rayana urged.

Chloe stared at Rayana for a long time, hesitating whether to tell her or not, until she succumbed to her own ego. "David confessed his feelings for me, he likes me," she admits.

Rayana was quite surprised by Chloe's statement but was easily able to hide it.

"It happened at your wedding when Farren told me to look for David. I saw him, on the beach, and that's when he confessed his feelings, "Just remembering the snippets of that night made Chloe's heart skip a beat. "I… I don't know what to do, and I'm so confused. I mean, we've been good friends for a long time. It just doesn't make sense to me that David likes me." Chloe looked at Rayana in frustration. "What do you think, Rayana?"

Rayana's first response was a smile. The beautiful woman stroked Chloe's face, lovingly. "Anyone can fall in love, Chloe, and David is no exception. In the past, I also thought it was unreasonable, but in fact, Farren really loves me."

"Do you think David meant it too?" Chloe asked, doubtful. "When someone who has never been serious about love confesses their feelings for you, will you just believe it?"

"No," Rayana answered confidently. "At first it was hard to believe whether the person really liked us or not. When that person's past is dark, and we know it all too well. We will think that all this will not go easily, even think about the future together. All that does not appear in our minds. We are too afraid to believe, afraid that one day we will be hurt when we decide to believe it," Rayana's lips curved into a small smile. "But, believe me, Chloe. All of that is a process towards something even better. It would be better to believe and see what will happen next with that person, than to be tormented by curiosity and regret, in the end."

"You think so?"

Rayana nodded. "I learned that not everyone gets good things in life. They will be faced with a difficult choice for them to choose. And when you've made up your mind, we just have to live it to the end to know if our choice is right or wrong.

"But, I don't know how I feel right now. I'm too confused."

Rayana touched Chloe's shoulder and smiled. "Trust your heart, Chloe. Ask yourself, who do you always miss? The person you remember when you feel sad or happy. No matter what happens to you, the only person you want to meet is him…"

"Farren, we need to talk for a bit," Rayana said, shortly after Farren turned off the car engine.

"About what?" Farren asked. His eyes looked at Rayana with a tired face, after all, day playing with Chloe.

"About Chloe. We have something to talk about her."

Farren's brow furrowed. "What's wrong with Chloe?"

"She is fine. It is just..."

"Rayana, it's already late. I don't want you to be tired, you need to rest. Say what you want to say, tomorrow. I will listen to it." Farren said. He quickly opened the car door and got out. Turn the car around to open Rayana's door. "Come on, come out."

Rayana comes out. Her face twisted in annoyance. "Farren, I want to talk about this right now. It's important to Chloe."

"Your health is much more important, Rayana. You're pregnant."

"I'm fine, Farren." cried Rayana irritated.

Farren ruffled his hair in frustration. "Okay, I'll listen to it. But before that, come on in. It's very cold outside." Farren's hand immediately grabbed Rayana's waist. Bring the girl into the house.

Arriving in the room. Farren took off his coat. Sit on the edge of the bed while opening the top three buttons.

"Farren, you will listen to my story, right?" asked Rayana.

"Yes, alright. Just say it."

"But promise me you won't be angry."
