"Honestly, I should thank you for going on as long as you did," Fleur said. "It gave me some time to clear my head. I almost ended up blaming myself and believing that you might have actually been a good person."

Fleur stared Dorian down as he glowered at her. She had managed to regain a bit of resolve. And although she still had dark circles under her eyes and was short of breath, there was a strength in her expression that wasn't there before.

"So after everything that happened, you refuse to acknowledge what you've done? You refuse to take responsibility?"

"I'm done sitting here and listening to you talk." She responded.

Dorian's face darkened, and Fleur watched as an ethereal blade appeared in his hand. The time for words had passed, and the only thing left was to settle their differences.
