There she stood, hoisting up a massive boulder with both hands. Carin's breasts heaved as her lungs took in large quantities of air.

She looked to be in rough shape and was bleeding from her eyes and mouth. She had overused her powers to forcefully counteract her paralysis.

Eyes bloodshot, she looked at Calian and roared, "Baaastaard!!"

"Luna, put a barrier up to protect us now!" Rune wasn't sure why Luna's powers had awakened at this time, but he was thankful for it. He could tell that Carin had no intention of holding back now that they had the means to shield themselves.

"Right!"

"I don't think so!"

"Raaah!!"
