Rune groaned and sighed as he opened his eyes to another unfamiliar ceiling. He realized right away that he was in some kind of hospital room. He felt like this had been happening to him a lot lately, and he found it slightly annoying how used to it he had gotten. He grunted and scowled in slight irritation at his circumstances.

It was then that he noticed he wasn't alone in the room. A familiar face was leaned up against the wall with her arms crossed in her usual position. The slight smirk on her lips made his frown deepen.

"Don't look so down about it, brat. It was natural for you to come out of it a little banged up considering who you were up against. Not to mention you were weakened."

Rune closed his eyes for a moment and thought about it, and true enough, he couldn't think of a better outcome. He could only grunt in displeasure knowing that she was right.
