Various Meetings 3

Once Rune got changed, he followed Rienn and Claudia out to the pool, and class soon started. Rienn's flustered state quickly eased, and they were soon back casually chatting with each other. The swim class had been no different from the ones he had attended previously, and the other students' interest in him soon waned. It had been little more than a spark of fleeting curiosity fueled by innocent teenage hormones.

Before he knew it, the sun had begun to set, and the last swim class of the day had come to an end. Mako had left at some point, too, heading into one of the small buildings attached to the pool, likely to finish up some paperwork, but Rune just couldn't bring himself to get out of the water. He just rested his chin against his crossed arms as they lay on the edge of the pool. The dusky orange rays of fading sun washed over his back as he closed his eyes in contemplation.
