Meeting with the Kaiser

When Rune entered the portal, the scenery was much like when Irene stopped time during the award ceremony. It was a space devoid of color, greyscale with different tones. The space was bare except for a single table and an ornate chair, which the Kaiser was sitting elegantly upon with her legs crossed over one another and her chin resting in her hand. She looked at him and raised her head as he entered and offered a greeting.

"All done having your fun?" Irene asked. Her tone was neither stern nor casual. Her question implied she knew what he had been up to until now, but it seemed she could not have cared less. Still, Rune had to wonder how she could tell.

"W–what do you–" He started, but Irene cut him off.

"I can read your time."

Rune did not know what this meant, so he waited to see if she elaborated.
