Rune Abducted?

"It's locked."

The rectangular building they had stopped to visit on this small island was locked up tight, and no matter how much strength he exerted, the sturdy frame made of ancient metals would not budge.

Rune had been surprised to feel how tough the building was. He tried to pull the door open casually only to fail and so he was curious to test just how much force it could take. He knew the place was not abandoned. For one, this building was not some empty ruin, but a restored structure of the ancient world, and although there were no windows on the building, he could tell that there were some lights on inside from the distinct shine coming from the cracks in the door frame.

"Damn. It won't open."

Rune scratched his head, feeling slightly frustrated. As he did not want to damage the structure and they did not come here to try and break in, Rune could only give up in defeat.

"What is this place anyway?" He asked.
