Denied

Following the announcement of the First Beast Subjigation mission, Rune headed out to visit the Karlet adventurers guild.

Stella decided to accompany him this time, and she joined him after the maids finished fussing over her hair and clothes. She had gotten a bit sandy after their trip to the beach to test Rune's new power. While it was fine for Rune to be a little dirty, despite the maids' constant urgings for him act more noble, the same could not be said for a lady under their care.

Once the preparations were finished, and Stella was looking spotless again, it was time for the pair to head out.

The notice had urged all adventurers of B rank or higher to report immediately to their nearest guild branch. Because of this, Rune and Stella saw many of Karlet's local adventurers making the same trip.
