26. Cracked

"Arka! Fighting!"

Like being struck by lightning, Felix widened his eyes when he realized the figure beside him was not Dhian. But Dara, was the man imagining that Dara was Dhian?

But as Felix remembers, Dhian just said goodbye to go to the toilet instead of going home and instead Dara took the girl's place. Olivia looked surprised to see a strange girl sitting beside her with a hysterical expression.

"Hi, Mr. Felix," Dara said smiling.

"What are you doing here?"

"Isn't it possible?"

"This is someone else's place, you should sit on another chair."

"But I want to sit close to Mr. Felix~"

"Dara," said Felix.

"What?"

"Please don't make a fuss, you have to move to another place."

"I don't want to."

"There's someone else sitting here-"

"Dhian is home, sir."

"What?"

"Dhian is home."

"So Dhian hah..."

"Huh..."

Calvin glanced up at the audience seat and saw Dara who was staring intently at him, he didn't remember Dara was in this place, moreover Dara's place was where Dhian was before. Where is Dian? Why is Dara there?

Arka patted Calvin on the shoulder, telling Calvin to focus on the match and not pay attention to other things first. Arka was just as confused as Calvin, but the man became even more excited to compete because of the presence of Dara who supported him directly.

Actually Calvin was also happy with Dara's presence, but the man couldn't just let Dhian go because of Dara. It must have been Dara who did this, threatening Dhian to leave because the girl sat beside Felix.

"Dara might know my plan, bad..."

"What plan? Focus, Vin!" exclaimed Julian.

"OK sorry!"

Meanwhile in the audience, Dara continues to annoy Felix and makes the man uncomfortable. Felix wanted to move to the teacher's chair, but the only seat left was beside Maya, making Felix undo his intention to move.

The basketball match continued until Calvin's team won the match, Dara immediately ran down the field and made Olivia wonder who Dara was.

"Arka! You are indeed amazing!"

Calvin gasped when it turned out that Dara only came to Arka and not him, Arka and Calvin felt strange because of Dara's attitude like this. Somehow Calvin felt something bad.

"Congratulations, Ar."

"You didn't tell me something?"

Dara turned. "Didn't you just expect everything from Dhian?"

"It..."

"I know everything, Calvin. You're trying to bring Dhian and Felix closer, even though you know that I like Felix."

Calvin was silent, unable to respond to Dara any more. Calvin may have betrayed his friend in this unexpected way, but someone his friend likes that likes a girl who also reciprocates his feelings.

"Ra, sorry."

Dara snorted. "Not care."

"What? So you don't forgive me?"

"You think it's not painful to see my best friend helping other people and betraying me?"

"Dara..."

"Let's go, Arka, you have to treat me because of your victory."

"Why not you?"

"Because you won! Come on!"

Dara pulled Arka away, while Arka glanced at Calvin. The man is now aware of the current situation, it turns out that Calvin has made Dara angry by bringing Felix and Dhian closer.

"You mad at Calvin for that?"

"Huh! He betrayed me, of course I'm upset!"

"I know, but Calvin is not wrong here. Mr. Felix and Dhian have liked each other for a long time, you can't bother them, can you?"

Dara turned her face away. "I don't like this."

"Dara..."

"Arka..."

"Hah.. you're getting stubborn."

"You defend Dhian?"

Ark shook his head. "I just thought if you really love Felix, you should let him be happy with the girl he likes."

"But I can't," Dara took her food order to be brought to one of the empty tables.

"That means you haven't been completely sincere to him."

"Not..."

Arka smiled slightly while gently ruffling Dara's hair, while Dara ignored Arka's treatment and chose to eat her food after sitting comfortably.

"Don't be mad at Calvin for too long."

"Don't talk about it anymore."

"That Calvin can't lose any of his friends, you know?"

"I know," replied Dara nonchalantly.

"He might be frustrated."

"I'm more frustrated, Arka, I love Felix! But.. hah.. never mind."

"You love Felix so much?"

"Yeah..."

"Ra, I know you."

"Hm?"

"You..."

"Oh, gosh.. I forgot that you were my best friend since childhood, Ar," Dara mumbled, chuckling. "I can't lie to you, can I?"

"So?"

"I'll be honest about everything."

"Straight to."

Dara nodded, the girl knew that Arka didn't like being lied to and didn't like waiting. A few moments later, Dara told everything to Arka. At first Arka was surprised and in the end Arka tried to understand, Dara had changed a lot apparently.

Arka can't give advice or suggestions to Dara if he sees the girl's attitude, after all this is Dara's life, Arka can't possibly manage the girl even though she is Dara's old friend.

"So I see.. good story..."

Dara and Arka were surprised when they heard Calvin's voice, both of them turned their heads carefully, while Calvin glared at Dara and Arka in turn.

"Vin, I..."

"Why are you angry?"

"Vin, listen first!"

Calvin laughed sarcastically. "I was afraid you'd be too disappointed in me, but what is this? Wow..."

Dara rose to her feet, but Calvin restrained the girl, telling her to finish her food first. Dara was forced to sit back, while Calvin just walked away.

"How about this?"

"Do what your heart desires."

Dara looked down. "This is where I am wrong..."

"Yeah.. that's the truth."

Arka noticed Dara's behavior, who knows who is at fault here. But Arka feels that defending Calvin is not a bad thing, seeing Dara's attitude.

"Late again?"

"Yes."

Dhian was tired of hearing that question from Calvin's lips and Calvin was also tired of asking the same questions every morning.

But as a conversation starter, Calvin could only discuss the topic, considering the two of them were often late together. Besides, Calvin is more uncomfortable if he doesn't talk to the people around him, like before he was close to Dhian, at that time Calvin was uncomfortable.

"Why did you come home early yesterday?"

Dhian looked down. "Yesterday there was trouble at home."

"Is that so? You should have told me, when you left I became unfocused."

"But you won, right?"

"The other members were yelling at me for not focusing, so I quickly finished the match."

"Forgive me."

"Then what about Mr. Felix?"

"Ordinary."

"Has nothing changed?"

"Maybe so."

"Are you avoiding Mr. Felix again?" Calvin asked, stopping in his tracks.

While Dhian who heard it just kept running and didn't answer Calvin's questions, didn't hear any answers, Calvin could only surrender.
