36. Weird Feeling

"Hah..."

"Haven't they gone too far already?"

Dhian washed her face and head in the tap water from the side of the field, the girl did not respond to Calvin's every word. After all, Dhian didn't really care, after all this was normal for her.

"Dhian?"

"Yes?"

"You're not going to report the student's actions earlier?"

Dhian shook her head. "No need to overdo it, I do deserve it."

"No one deserves to be bullied! I don't agree with what you're saying."

"What else can we do..."

"Dhian," Calvin hissed.

"You want me to change, don't you? You should do the same."

"Eh?"

"Why? Don't accept it?"

"But..."

"You do not want?"

"Not like that..."

"Then."

"In fact-"

"The point is you have to change too."

"How?"

"I'll teach you how, but before that..."

Calvin stepped closer to Dhian, the man helped Dhian to wash her sticky hair after being exposed to liquid milk. Without Calvin knowing it, the man was eroding the distance between them.

"Calvin," whispered Dhian.

"Hn?"

"You too close..."

"Eh!"

Calvin gasped, but his hand was still above Dhian's head. The man's face instantly heated up realizing the distance they were now, this closeness was normal for Calvin. But he didn't know why now he was starting to notice, if something was different.

"The smell of the milk in your head won't go away."

"No problem, just like this is enough, after all it's time to go home."

"That is true..."

Calvin slowly distanced himself from Dhian, feeling awkward because Dhian rebuked their distance. Calvin would also be normal if he didn't notice. The man was used to getting too close to anyone, but now it was different.

While Dhian also started to step back because she felt awkward, but the girl accidentally stepped on a puddle that made the ground slippery and suddenly Dhian's feet slipped.

Eh

Dhian closed her eyes tightly was so resigned she fell. This is really embarrassing for her.

One second...

Two seconds...

Until

Third second...

She felt nothing, someone's hand wrapped around her waist tightly, the person's breath was roaring against her face. Dhian, the girl slowly opened her closed eyes.

Deg Deg

Dhian froze when her eyes met Calvin's eyes. The two stared at each other for a long time, time seemed to stop when Calvin traced Dhian's dark black beads deeper.

Calvin couldn't escape Dhian's captivating eyes which made him transfixed until his heart beat so fast without him realizing it, but the man's unconsciousness made his standing position unbalanced.

The man was surprised when he began to realize how he was now after holding Dhian who almost fell and at that moment he fell backwards with Dhian's condition that hit his body.

Now, Calvin is lying with his back hitting the ground and his head hitting a puddle of water that made Dhian's feet slip earlier, while Dhian's body position is on top of Calvin's body with his head resting on Calvin's chest.

Calvin's eyes widened in surprise at what he had experienced, until a few moments later the man realized Dhian's body had hit his body. He awkwardly touched both of Dhian's arms.

"Ugh.. Dhi- dhian.. you.. you're a bit heavy."

Dhian gasped. "Sorry!"

Dhian stood up and helped Calvin to stand up, the girl's eyes widened when she saw the back of Calvin's head which was dirty like mud. Calvin immediately washed his head and wiped his hair.

Dhian was a little stunned to see Calvin's face which was different from usual, but then Dhian turned her face away when Calvin turned his body to face the girl.

Calvin laughed. "It's strange that we have bad luck together like this. Your head smells of milk, while my head smells of mud."

"That is true..."

Calvin continued to laugh as if what they were experiencing right now looked funny, but actually Calvin was also trying to get rid of the strange feeling that had crossed his mind from what had just happened by just laughing.

Dhian also smiled because she was also thinking the same thing as Calvin, she was nervous, so nervous that she didn't know what to do. The girl didn't think something like this would happen when she was with Calvin.

"Dara?"

Dara smiled happily when she saw Felix who came to her, the girl is now sitting on a mat that she opened by the lake with lots of food available on the mat. Felix didn't expect Dara to prepare it when he came home from teaching from school.

"So this is what people often call a picnic?"

Dara nodded. "How? Do you like it?"

"Of course, especially if it was prepared directly by my girlfriend," Felix sat down beside Dara while kissing the girl's forehead. "Thank you, honey, my tiredness after teaching just went away."

"You..." Dara touched her forehead with a shy expression.

Felix chuckled and gently stroked Dara's head, the man felt Dara was very adorable like this. Making Dara try desperately to get rid of her nervousness, she didn't expect that she could finally be with Felix like this.

Dara rested her head on Felix's chest while eating her homemade sandwich, Felix also ate the sandwich from Dara's hand and occasionally teased his lover.

They continued to sit on the edge of the lake until the sky began to darken, both of them packed up the food containers and left with Felix who was carrying a food container in his hand. During the trip to Felix's car, Dara continued to chatter cheerfully until the girl sat herself in the middle of a wide meadow.

"Why?"

"I want to see the stars with you..."

Felix smiled. "Today was quite the fun huh."

"Yes, and I hope tomorrow will be an even better day."

"Must.".

Dara pointed to the sky. "Mr. Felix, look! It's beautiful..."

Felix turned his head to look at the stars in the sky then the man looked back at Dara with a gentle smile. Dara, who noticed Felix's gaze, turned around, their gazes met and they both smiled happily at each other.

"I love you."

"Me too, I really.. love you very much," said Dara

Unbeknownst to them, it turned out that someone was staring at the two with a hurt look. The figure left with a throbbing heart, he can no longer see the girl he likes dating someone else

"Oh I see?"
