39. Satria and Olivia

"Dhian," Calvin called.

"Yes?"

"After carrying out this punishment.. can we-"

"Eh? That's Satria..." Dhian saw Satria walking towards the back of the school building through the edge of the field. "Sorry, Calvin, we'll talk later."

"Satria?"

Dhian immediately went to the side of the field and approached Satria, while Satria stopped his steps when he heard someone's voice from behind him, the man was surprised to see Dhian's presence.

"Why?"

"Can we talk for a minute?"

"Eh? Err.. alright."

Dhian and Satria are now sitting on a park bench next to the school, Satria closed his eyes while waiting for Dhian to prepare to talk to him because he knows that Dhian is currently nervous.

"Um..."

"Hn?"

"Olivia already told me."

"About what?"

"About your friendship so far."

"Oh," replied Satria unconcerned. "Only that?"

Dhian shook her head. "Actually.. you changed when Olivia told someone about her feelings, right?"

"Eh? Where did you-"

"Sorry to cut you off," Dhian interrupted. "I just realized it, when Olivia told her heart.. I accidentally saw you not far behind Olivia, at that time you were surprised because you overheard what she said."

"Then?"

"I realized after hearing that you guys have been friends since childhood, are you... experiencing the friendzone?"

Satria gasped, he couldn't believe that Dhian could easily guess what the man was going through, while Olivia had never understood her feelings all this time. Unlike Dhian, even though it was Dhian who had only heard the story once.

"You seem like a very sensitive girl, actually.. I don't know when I started liking Olivia..."

"Satria, stop playing games!"

"Soon, ma'am!"

"Satria!"

"Huh!"

"Come here you brat!"

"This has not been completed!"

Satria who is only 8 years old cursed because he lost playing the game, the man blamed his mother as the reason for his defeat. His mother came and pulled his ear, while Satria begged for forgiveness to be released.

"Gosh.. sorry, this kid is really naughty, can't be controlled."

Satria was surprised because his mother was seen talking to someone, the man looked behind him and saw a woman smiling at him. The woman looks foreign in Satria's eyes, this is the first time Satria has seen her.

"Who?"

"Hey, how rude!"

"It's okay, Riana, my son is also naughty. But I don't know why she was so shy when she just moved in."

"Mom..."

Satria looked behind the strange woman in front of him, a girl who looked the same age as him was hiding behind the woman. Satria immediately took the initiative to pull the child so as not to hide behind her mother.

"When entering someone's house, it's very rude to hide like that."

"Eh? Hey! Don't pull me like this! You're even more disrespectful!" cried Olivia in protest.

Riana, Satria's mother laughed softly at the behavior of her son and her best friend's son, Viona. The two women laughed together and made their son scream in annoyance, but I don't know what made them then play games together.

"Hahaha.. you lost!"

"Hey! This is cheating, repeat!"

"What did you say?! Cheating?!"

"Yeah, you're playing dirty!"

"I'm not like that! You cheated, that's why you lost!"

"Kids, stop fighting! Let's have dinner together first!"

"Huh!"

"Greetings everyone, I'm Olivia!"

"Nice to meet you!"

"All right, Olivia, you can take a seat in the back empty seat."

Olivia looked around in all directions, the girl frowned, she didn't like sitting in the back row. She also accidentally saw Satria who was sitting in the third row, but the man was sitting with his friend.

"Hey, step aside."

"What? You can find a seat in the back."

"I don't want to, I want to sit next to Satria."

Satria was surprised when he heard the haughty words from Olivia's lips and suddenly the man's heart was beating so fast, his face was heating up, he couldn't believe Olivia would say something like that in class.

"Uuuuuu!"

"Very romantic!"

"Wow.. how dare on the first day of changing schools..."

"You're not going to change seats?" Olivia asked Satria's seatmate, ignoring the taunts of her friends.

"Hah.. yes, yes.. I moved..."

"Thank you!" Olivia immediately sat beside Satria while smiling sweetly at Satria. "Remember, Satria, you have to protect me."

Satria was transfixed by Olivia's smile, since his first meeting with her, she had always been angry and too rude to him. But this time, Satria saw Olivia's sweet smile, the man couldn't deny that he liked Olivia's smile.

"Satria, Olivia is beautiful."

Satria glared. "Tch, it's normal."

"Really? What if I ask her out?"

"What? Are you crazy, Arjuna? That kid just transferred to our school, don't make her uncomfortable."

"Hehe.. just kidding, seriously..."

"Huh."

The next day, Satria and Olivia walked together to school. But Satria was too distant from Olivia, the man walked behind Olivia so that his school friends' children wouldn't make fun of them for going to school together.

When almost approaching the school gate, a motorbike accidentally grazed Olivia's body so that the girl fell on her stomach on the highway. Satria who saw it immediately ran to Olivia very worried.

Satria wanted to help Olivia stand up and his eyes widened when he saw Olivia's teary eyes, the man wiped a drop of Olivia's tears making Olivia surprised and lowered her head. But Satria pulled Olivia's chin, so that the woman looked at him.

"Don't cry, aren't you a strong girl?"

Olivia gasped. "Who else is crying, my eyes just sting because of the dust in it!"

Satria crouched. "Get on my back, I'll carry you all the way to the school infirmary."

"Eh? Is it okay? I'm heavy."

"It doesn't matter, I'm strong."

"You bast*rd..." Olivia immediately jumped onto Satria's back.

Satria smiled. "Next time I will walk beside you."

Olivia wrapped her arms around Satria's neck making the man startled with his irregular heartbeat, again Satria felt something strange that made his face turn red.

"I promise you won't experience anything like this again."

"I keep your promise."
