60. Hansel's Father

"Want something to eat, Hans?"

"You want to cook?"

Dara snorted. "You think I'm your wife? I'll order some food."

"Oh. Dad, what do you want to eat?"

"None of your business!"

"Whatever, Ra."

"Okay."

Dara ordered the food she wanted to eat which Hansel and him father might like, while Hansel approached Dara and sat beside the girl.

"Thank you for wanting to keep coming to this cursed house."

"Heh, don't talk!" Dara scolded.

"But that's the reality."

"Hah.. this is what makes me dislike you."

"Eh?"

"Shut up, I want to play a game."

"Mobile games?" asked Hansel staring in disbelief.

"Then what do you think?"

"Not usually…"

"Oh yes, I want to ask you something."

Hansel frowned. "What?"

"What Calvin said-"

Prang

Braaakkk

"What's that?"

Hansel immediately stood up and went to his father's room, while Dara put down her cellphone at random and followed Hansel. They were both shocked when they saw Hansel's father lying dying on the floor with his mouth bleeding.

"No…"

"Hah..."

Dara stroked Hansel's back who was sitting in the waiting corridor in front of the hospital ward. At this time Hansel looked so frustrated, he even kept ruffling his hair with his body trembling.

"The guardian of the patient?"

Hansel immediately stood up. "I am, doctor, how is my father."

"Sorry, we-"

"Don't go on!"

After shouting, Hansel immediately opened the door of the hospital patient room roughly. Hansel shook his head seeing his father's body that was getting pale, this must be just a dream.

"Dad, get up, we have to go home! Dad, you heard me, right? Fast wake! Father!"

"Hans…"

Dara stared blankly at Hansel who was now screaming in frustration, a few moments later Dara approached Hansel and hugged the man. At first Hansel struggled when he felt Dara's embrace, but then the man was silent with a limp body.

"Hans…"

"Ra.. this must be just a dream, right?"

Dara shook her head and that made Hansel's body stagger, while Dara chose to keep hugging Hansel so that the man would not lose control. Dara knew the feeling, she knew what it felt like to lose like this.

At a time like this, Dara had to be beside Hansel, forgetting the questions she didn't have time to ask earlier. Even though Dara wasn't a good girl, in a situation like this, she wouldn't make things worse.

And now, Dara is at Hansel's father funeral home, standing beside Hansel to continue to strengthen the man. Not many came to see Hansel's father go because many did not like the old man.

But to appreciate Hansel, some people came and had a little chat with Hansel. Even so, there were always people who came to insult Hansel's father in front of Hansel directly and in front of Hansel's father's corpse.

Once at the funeral home, Dara still follows Hansel to his father's funeral, continuing to comfort him until he arrives at his house at night. Dara still didn't go, even though Hansel locked himself in his room when he got home.

Dara kept trying to persuade Hansel until finally the man came out of his room, Dara chose to cook food for Hansel and it turned out that Hansel immediately smiled at her after leaving the room.

Dara knew that Hansel's smile was still not that sincere, but fortunately Hansel was not sad for too long. Unlike Dara, when she lost, she became a mischievous girl who was difficult to manage and it took her a long time to smile.

"Thank you…" whispered Hansel.

"No big deal, let's eat first."

"Yes."

Dara smiled knowing Hansel's current state, it looked like she could leave Hansel's house tomorrow. Hopefully Hansel doesn't lose control when she's not with that man.

After that day, Dara really didn't go to visit Hansel's house anymore, she seemed to stay away from Hansel and she even ignored Hansel's invitations to go on a date. Of course this confused Hansel, but he himself grew closer to Dhian at school so he felt that he was actually dating Dhian.

The closeness of Dhian and Hansel, who seem to be getting more and more intimate, makes Calvin and Arka confused. Their relationship should have been strained since Dhian found out about everything, but in fact, the opposite happened.

While Dara had talked to Calvin and Arka if she had broken up with Hansel, the girl said that she would give up Hansel to Dhian because Dhian had done the same thing to her.

Calvin and Arka's confusion is getting worse, Dara is not a girl who wants to give up on something, especially when it comes to something like this. Dara also said that if Hansel really needed Dhian by his side, it made Calvin and Arka feel suspicious.

"You believe that?"

Arka shook his head. "No."

"There's something strange here."

"Hn."

"This isn't right, is it? There seems to be something."

"Hans needs Dhian?"

He snorted. "Nonsense."

"What are they talking about?" asked Niel confused.

"About something."

"But what? They were too serious to even notice us coming."

"What is it?"

"I'm curious," said Nando.

"Me too."

"Wanna ask directly?"

"No, they won't answer us."

"Why?"

"There's something strange, one of them seems to like Dhian."

"Eh? Don't joke, hahaha…"

"Hey, I'm serious!"

"Seriously.. hahaha…"

"Wanna bet?"

"Eh?"

Meanwhile, Calvin and Arka, who were talking now, were surprised that their friends had not yet appeared in the canteen. Even though they are usually in the canteen even before break time.

"Where are they?"

"How would I know."

"Oh yes, yesterday I overheard my father and the principal talking."

"What?"

"Soon there will be a study tour."

"Oh yes?"

"I don't want to go if you see the current situation, but I still hope Dhian wants to go with me."

Arka flinched. "Hah?"

"There's nothing wrong with hoping, right?"

"You really like Dhian, don't you," Arka whispered.

"I will not let Dhian be with a man like Hans, he just wants everything that other people have."

"You are right…"

Calvin tapped his on the shoulder. "Don't think too much about what he said, we'll take back what he took."

"Hn."

"Wanna give up? You like Dara, right?"

"Not only-"

"So you two like someone?!"

Arka smacked him forehead. "I already guessed…"

"Hah…"

"Tell us about Hans and about the two girls you fell in love with!"
