An Overwhelming Pain

As they say, grief is universal. Everyone would experience grief at least once in their life. But Mason didn't expect that he would experience it that soon. He thought that he would only grieve the death of his parents, brother, and friends but he believed that it would be when he was older when they were older. His parents, brother, and friends were all healthy people and though accidents are inevitable, he never thought that he would grieve their loss sooner than later.

Mason never saw himself experiencing grief while he was at the age he was enjoying life to the fullest. So he was not prepared. But then, was anyone ever prepared for the death of a loved one? Even if they say so, it was still different when that time came. No one could really prepare themselves for the death of a loved one.
