307. Dark Quartz League of Anarchy Part III ~Captur...

It resembles a horrifying humanoid bear. It has creepy eyes with tiny pupils and black lining around its pale white eyes, sharp needle-like teeth, a freaky grin, a large black nose, small bear ears, a black backward cap, a large muscular humanoid body, spikes all over its body, large black claws, and black fur.

It crept in the night as it smelled something.

A couple walking with their very young daughter.

It purrs.

"Three dead bodies?" asked Gabrielle in her Reaper suit who is talking with Raphael. "Man, woman, and girl?"

"The Reaper II."

"They were mauled by something," said Raphael. "Cryptid?"

"Captain Raphael  Z. JoJo."

"Probably..." said Nick, wearing his usual get-up. However, he has a white helmet on and a black hood. The white helmet has small blue angry eyes. He also wore Arthur's green crest around his neck.

"Weather Report."

Monroe is wearing what looks like a Batsuit, but it's dark gray all over. And he has a wolf head symbol on his chest and has no cape. "I feel stupid."

"Bloodwolf."

"You tell me," said Narcos. Narcos is wearing a male version of the Killer Kuta suit.

"Killer Kuta II."

"Ugh..." sighed Mercuria. She is wearing a female version of the Wolfsbane suit.

"Wolfsbane II."

Victoria sighs. "Hay Naku..." she is wearing armor similar to Jessica Polnareff's Silver Chariot. "This doesn't make sense because I don't have super speed..."

"Cheetarah II."

Foo Fighters, meanwhile, is in her Stand form.

"F.F."

"Come on, guys!" yelled Gabrielle. "We're trying to honor what once was!"

"By dressing up like bootleg Superheroes?" asked Victoria. "This is a bit unnecessary and something tells me that you're compensating about our own father and that's kinda weird... and sad..."

"We look stupid," said Victoria.

"This is the very first time I feel ashamed in public," Narcos blushes and keeps his head down. "Oh, geez..."

"So... Stardust Crusaders? What do you think?" asked Raphael.

"Why are we called 'Stardust Crusaders?'" asked Victoria. "Crusade for what?"

"Justice," said Gabrielle.

"You ripped off Bruce just now."

"That I did."

"I think it's Cryptid," said Mercuria. "Claw marks and bite marks all over their bodies... Probably 7-9 feet tall."

"I haven't seen these kinds of bite marks in the books," said Nick. "Looks like an oversized bear."

"Jagerbars?" asked Mercuria.

"No," said Monroe, sniffing the area. "Smell, Mercuria."

Mercuria sniffs the air. "Yeah... it's a different scent."

"Smells like... fast food... chicken nuggets... fried chicken... gravy... barbecue sauce... Burgers... Spaghetti... Carbonara... And pizza... Lots and lots of pizza..." said Mercuria.

Later...

The seven appear in front of the restaurant: Buddy Bear's Pizzeria. It was a simple red building with a large sign on top. It has glass doors in the front and is in between two buildings.

"This is where the attack comes from. All the bodies are at least within a kilometer away from here," said Nick.

The seven enter the empty pizzeria restaurant.

"It's been closed for years," continued Nick. "It's actually been a forgotten building in this town..."

Gabrielle Erstewoges underneath her skull helmet and the skull helmet on her head morphs into a Vampiric Aswang's skull.

"What's wrong?" asked Nick, who takes out his axes from the holsters on his back.

"Someone's here," said Gabrielle.

Victoria, Mercuria, Narcos, and Monroe all woge.

"What is... chaos? They say that chaos is something that this world needs..." Kenneth emerges from the darkness on the upper dining floor. "Chaos is fairness... No government to rule us... No government to oppress... us... No government to ruin our lives... Without government, no corruption will exist... No one has to suffer because no one will be above another... In a way... Stefan and Miguel spoke true. Both of them. They both believed in a world where no one is above anyone... But you people believe in order... peace... And we can't have that. Because you people will stand in our way... Stand in the way of what we believe in. You believe that the world your father made is perfect. I've seen people starving in the streets. I've seen orphans dying."

"You killed orphans," said Nick.

"Because that orphanage was government-funded. They don't deserve to stand if they were born from blood money."

"You people are insane," said Monroe. "You people call this fair? Fairness isn't something you just gain by blowing some stuff up."

"You fool..." sighed Kenneth. "These people made me kill MY MOTHER!!! Do you think that these people deserve such power in their hands!? No one is going to stop this... The new world order. The true new world order."

"You people always think that what you're doing is out of fairness and out of love. No..." said Victoria. "You're all doing this out of hate. You're doing this out of anger. You people are filled with a vengeance in your hearts... I'm done letting vengeance turn me into someone terrible..."

"All I understand is that you're a traitor, Improbable Man. Or shall I say, 'Victoria JoJo'..." sneered Kenneth. "I'm gonna cut off all your heads after all this..."

"Probably not," smiled Victoria.

Kenneth sighs. "My range is 15 meters... Right now... you are 15 meters away from me. If I get too close, I'll choke the life out of you."

The creature from earlier appears underneath the first floor, hunched back. It is 8 meters tall.

"So... I'll spare you myself. Now you all have to fight that."

Everyone's eyes widen.

"Bearman is hungry..." it growled with a deep and beastly voice. "Bearman wishes to eat your fucking faces."

"Foo Fighters and friends wish for Bearman to not eat Foo Fighters' and friends' faces..." Foo Fighters backs away in fear.

Nick swings his axes. "What are you?" he whispers.

It roars and charges toward Gabrielle.

"ORA!!!"

Stone Free blasts its fists into Bearman's face. It brings out and spins its Spin-Imbued clackers and bashes its face with it.

Bearman endures this and kicks her out of the building.

*BAM!!!*

Gabrielle skips like a stone and crashes into a truck.

*BOOM!!!*

Gabrielle slowly gets up.

"RAUGH!!!" Bearman grabs her face and scrapes it into the concrete road.

Bearman then bashes her face into the ground over and over again.

*CRACKLE!!!*

*ZAP!!!*

Bearman shrieks as he is electrocuted by Nick.

*THWIP!!!*

*creak...*

Nick blasts one of his axes into Bearman's shoulder. He roars and swings around, throwing Nick several meters away into the next block.

"Bearman will crush your heads..." said Bearman, approaching Narcos, who freezes his face. "Bearman will fuck your dead carcasses. Bearman will then eat your carcasses."

"What's up with this sudden Necrophilia?" asked Gabrielle.

"You probably would not survive the meteorite that crashes into the face."

*PEW!!!*

*SPLAT!!!*

A very small meteorite from space shoots Bearman in the face, as his eye fluid and brains splatter everywhere.

He drops to the ground, dead.

"Welp..." said Victoria, walking toward its dead body. "That was easy."

Suddenly, the sound of sloppy flesh could be heard from Bearman.

He regenerates fully and slowly stands up.

He tosses a spike at Victoria.

*THWIP!!!*

*THWIP!!!*

Narcos blocks the bony spike by tossing an icicle in front of Victoria's face.

The bony spike was hard and wrinkly. It is also incredibly sharp and resembled a thorny blade.

Monroe slows down Bearman and Narcos begins to freeze Bearman.

"Yoink!" smiled Carnage, crabbing Monroe by the neck. "Haha... I've never tried Blutbaden before..." Carnage opens his slimy gaping mouth with several sharp needle-like white teeth that gaped so wide that it is thrice the size of Monroe's head. 

Monrow woges back to his human form. "Uh..." he trembled.

*SPLAT!!!*

Foo Fighters' hammer-shaped fist splatters Carnage in the head, but he regenerates and bites Foo Fighters' shoulder. He tries to tear off her face, but she regenerates and turns her arm into a spike, and stabs him in the face.

"Goddamn it," said Cletus. "Why does this stupid bitch keep coming back!?"

Foo Fighters keeps on punching Carnage over and over again.

"FUFAITAS!!!" she cried.

Mercuria duplicates Carnage's head. Confused, Carnage shrieks and topples over.

"NGAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" 

A pumpkin bomb drops right before Mercuria.

Mercuria takes cover behind a car and the bomb explodes, but its explosion slows down.

Monroe uses Nachtblut, his Stand, to slow down the explosion's duration.

Mercuria duplicates Green Goblin's Goblin Glider and hops onto it, flying and chasing after the goblin. 

"Are they all here!?" asked Nick.

"Ha...ha... ha... ha... ha... hahahahaha..." cackled The Joker.

The Joker tosses a knife at Nick, but Nick shields it by forming a cloud armor, cushioning the knife.

Stone Free creates a net and entraps Bearman, then crushes him with Golden Spin.

"WRYYYYEAH!!!" she cried.

*BZZT!!!*

Gabrielle is frozen out of fear upon hearing the heat vision.

Victoria notices Gabrielle's trauma. "Probably won't hit her."

The heat vision doesn't reach her.

Dru-Zod appears.

Nick slowly stands up and tries to suffocate Zod.

Zod sneers. "Kryptonians don't need air, idiot."

"Oh..." said Nick. "Then what if I introduce a little bit of red sun radiation..."

"You can't do that," sneered Zod.

"Yeah... I can't... But he can."

*PEW!!!*

A flash of light from a red sun is shone into Zod's face. He screeches in pain.

Bruce sighs as he watched Zod from the Reapercave along with Peter. 

"Red sun, huh?" asked Peter.

"It's their natural light of radiation," replied Bruce.

"What if we're under a red sun."

"We die."

"Oh..."

Meanwhile...

Zod backs away from Nick. Nick then points his ax at Zod and electrocutes him.

Zod screams in pain then drops to the ground.

Carnage shrieks and prepares to bite off Foo Fighters smash a car, releasing a shriek from the car alarm.

Carnage shrieks and retracts. Foo Fighters then knocks out Cletus.

Flag-Smasher then appears and knocks down Monroe, but Monroe takes cover and resumes the normal duration of the bomb, Flag-Smasher is immediately tossed into the brick wall, knocking them out.

Abomination appears and beats Gabrielle down to the ground, but Gabrielle dodges Abomination's fists and strangles him with his neck.

The Joker is then knocked down by Nick, who cackles while falling unconscious.

Mercuria then removes the sticker on the glider she has and fuses the gliders together, and Green Goblin crashes into the building, knocked out.

Later...

All seven villains are shown to be behind the glass walls of the interrogation rooms of the Reapercave.

First villain...

"Why did you join the League of Anarchy?" asked Nick.

"I was once a General of a massive Kryptonian fleet. I was going to build a new empire to bring back Krypton... until Superman destroyed EVERYTHING I've tried to rebuild! Then I realized something... It doesn't matter, now, does it? Krypton's government betrayed me when I tried to offer them a solution! And its last son betrayed me as well! I was trapped for many years in the phantom zone... Thus... those who bring order and peace are corrupt pieces of shit who stand in the good people's way. Someone who brought so-called justice killed my people... I will not let these men kill yours."

"Where is the final page?" asked Nick, facing Dru-Zod.

"Now... I don't want to talk," said Zod.

"Where is the final page?"

Zod looks up and sees that red sun radiation is emitting from the fluorescent light above him.

"Make it a blue star and I will have a power of a god..." he chuckled.

"Where is the final page?"

"You don't get it, do you? Who are you supposed to be? A Grimm who lost his father in a car crash... Realized his mother was alive years later... then having her killed after four years... So little time of bonding... And by your own brother even!Poor sweet Grimm... Seeing his mother's head in a tiny box."

Nick sighs, he opens the room, and he walks inside the chamber.

He grabs Zod's head and crashes it into the metal wall, deforming the wall.

Zod spits out blood. His nose bleeds.

He doesn't answer.

Nick grabs Zod and slams him on the wall. "You didn't answer my question. Third page! Now!"

"You are so foolish... Don't you realize that your effort is all for naught? We are doing this to help you..."

"What is your plan!?" Nick begins to strangle Zod.

"I'll rather be killed by a Grimm than cross Bill Cipher!" Zod is choked.

Nick begins to gain paler skin and his eyes turn black.

"Nick! That's enough!" yelled Bruce.

Nick lets go and kicks Zod's face, knocking him out.

His skin goes back to normal.

Later...

"Emil Blonsky," said Bruce. "Why are you on these people's side?"

"Well... for one thing..." said Emil. "What would you feel if you were told that you were a freak every day of your life because of what you've become?"

"Huh..." said Bruce. "Alright. So! Where is the first page?"

Bruce begins to press a button in front of the glass as the oxygen begins to deplete in the chamber.

"Talk or die. Your choice," said Bruce.

After ten minutes... Emil fell to the ground, unconscious.

"Speak your reason for joining the League of Anarchy, Sir," said Peter.

"Hmhmhm... What do you think?" sneered Cletus Kasady. "I could totally bite your head off. Isn't that right, Carnage?"

Carnage's head morphs out of his body like a strange third limb. "Yeah...!"

"Yeah... Alright! Where is the page? The third page, I mean!"

"Nope... Not telling you..." Cletus hums to the tune of, "Dark Was the Night, Cold Was the Ground."

Later...

Peter stood before The Joker who peeled a small orange in front of him.

"Could you please tell us why you joined the League of Anarchy?" asked Peter. 

"Why?" asked The Joker.

"It's... standard procedure." Peter shrugs.

"You know, Peter Parker... The fact that you think Bruce is your father..." The Joker sneers and shakes his head. "He isn't. Sooner or later, Bruce will show what he really is. A liar... a cheat... Devilish, even! First, you lost your Uncle... Then Stark... Then your Aunt... How many bodies have to fall until you're full?"

Peter clenches his fists. "You're trying to get in my head... Bruce told me to just not listen to you..."

"Trying to get in your head? HAHAHA!!! Do I look like a Master Manipulator to you?"

"Y-... Yes."

"Well, don't judge a book by its cover. I... I am your best friend right now!" He licks his lips. "I don't have plans! I don't try to do things that make sense! I'm crazy!"

"Well... you're right about the part that you're crazy."

"YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!!!" he howled. "I'm trying to help you! I'll even give you the third page if you want!"

"You're lying..."

"What makes you say that?"

"I just... sense horrible intent. I don't trust you. The moment I step in, I don't know what you'd do."

"GET ME OUT OF HERE!!!" he howled. 

"You are just... tragic, man... You always have so much self-pity... You think that what you're doing is out of love. It's not! You're doing this because you hate your dad, you hate your brother, and you hate... Society or whatever! And you're just trying to get in my head because you have this false sense of heroism... Like you have this... foolish sense of... responsibility?"

The Joker cackles. "HAHAHAHAHA!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!! AHAHAHAHA!!! See? We're both the same, Spider-Man!"

Peter stays silent.

"Arthur... Stop messing with the kid," said Bruce from the computer.

"Oh, please! You got grounded by Anne because you tried to choke Abomination!" cackled The Joker.

Later...

Peter faces The Green Goblin.

"Why did you join the League of Anarchy?" He didn't look at Green Goblin. He also said it rather coldly.

"Come on, Peter! In my Universe, you were like a son to me!"

"In your Universe, you killed yourself trying to kill my variant," said Peter. "And you got resurrected killed Aunt May. Then you got resurrected again and tried to kill MJ."

"Peter..." Green Goblin tilts his head. "Do understand that I'm just trying to destroy those people... The people who created both of us... I'll tell you what I told him... I chose my path, you chose the way of the hero. And, they found you amusing for a while, the people in Maharlica. But the one thing they love more than a hero is to see a hero fail, fall, die trying...In spite of everything you've done for them, eventually, they will hate you."

"You sure are good friends with Arthur, Norman."

"Oh... Peter... Poor, Peter Parker... Do you know what your Aunt said to me before I killed her? 'Stay away from my Peter....'"

Peter approaches Green Goblin. 

"Peter... Stop," said Bruce.

"Sorry..." said Peter.

Later...

Nick faces Flag-Smasher.

"What?" asked Flag-Smasher. "Where's the Spiderling."

"We kinda decided to do shifts," said Nick. "We kinda... tried to kill some of you. So... Why'd you join the League?"

"Not saying anything."

"Where is the third page?"

"Nope!"

Nick sighs.

Later...

"Still nothing," sighed Nick, tossing the files on the table. "These people keep trying to either get in our heads or not talk."

"That's what makes these people dangerous," said Bruce. "I could only imagine what this Bill Cipher is capable of.Tomas Tomas is still unconscious... Or Bearman as he calls himself."

"Shit," sighed Nick.

"Guys?" asked Peter. "I think we have a clue..."

"What?" asked the pair.

"I found this in Bearman's shit," said Peter, placing an image of a Reviser in a strange mountainous area.
