Main Event

The doors opened and the luxurious walls quickly welcomed Neal's eyes. He scanned the wide square room where there was a table in the middle of the long chairs. The tiled floor was so shiny that it almost showed the reflection of the chandelier up the ceiling.

The light wasn't that bright or dim. It gave off an expensive aura. The hotel staff who accompanied them smiled and pointed at the sofas.

"Please take a seat. I'll let the owner know that you are here," he said.

Knox gave him a nod and then he glanced at Neal, holding his hand. The vampire furrowed but quickly got along as soon as he noticed the expression on the mafia's face. He nodded back and followed Knox.

The hotel staff immediately disappeared from their sight, leaving them alone with each other.

"How do you like it here?" Knox asked, giving a handsome smile to his fiancee for the night. He knew Neal couldn't hold his temper very well so he wanted to make the most of it.
