CHAPTER 36 Afraid of rejection

  Koko's POV

"Can we go and have breakfast now? I'm starving!" He said, holding my stomach.

"Yeah. Me too." I replied, breaking into a smile. Just then my stomach rumbled loudly.

He burst into laughter as he led me out of my room.

I watched as my mate laughed, holding my hands out of the room. I was drowning in his smile and the sound of his laughter made me forgot all my hunger.

I was gazing at him as if he was going to vanish from my presence. I didn't care that I was looking like a love-struck teenager right now, because this was the first time in all my years that I finally laughed.

The trauma with Prince Gad made me lost all hope of having a mate. Even the rejection from my second chance mate didn't hurt as much as Gad's rejection.

His rejection and his acceptance of my sister as his chosen mate fuel my already shattered heart. As if that wasn't enough, I had to watch them making out in front of me almost every day!
