Chapter 6- Arthur the lighting warrior

Not all nobles lived in the capital, like Vlad who lived in the second city which was the second city established in the kingdom many years ago, But even though it is a city with a large number of nobility, it is not even the second most important city in the kingdom.

Where the only port in the capital is located and where all ships from other countries arrive a port city called Mizuki, this city was ruled by a viscount named Reiner who was not subordinate to the king, he had a son at the age of 21 whose name was Arthur.

Arthur was an only child who will inherit his father in a few years but the connections between Arthur and noble affairs strives for zero, the only thing that interested Arthur was to become stronger and fight the strongest people, although he was married and had two newborn twins he aimed his sights towards the capital to which he was invited by the guild to a special mission and with the promise that if he arrives he will meet worthy opponents.

While he went to his room to visit his wife and children he stopped in his place when he heard his father's voice, "Wait a moment, why is there a carriage waiting for you outside?, why you can't spend one day with your family?", He asked his son out of concern for his priorities especially now that he had twins, Viscount Reiner may have been tough on the outside but he cared about all the town people and of course his son.

Arthur turned around to his father and said, "Terry sent me a message about a security mission at Vanessa's wedding, I was supposed to go there anyway so I'll just go ahead and be there early and on the way, I'll meet the next big thing in the magicians' world. Arthur took out of his pocket the folded newspaper in which Rean's picture appeared.

"It's not an excuse to leave your wife", Reiner snatched the newspaper from Arthur's hands and looked at the article, "and who even promised you that you would meet this boy there, the capital is a big city".

"Terry promised that she would recruit him for the mission", Arthur smiled, "and if she lied to me I would just destroy the guild", He clenched his fist and caused the electricity to come out of his hands, "I guess we'll find out soon".

Arthur was not a normal magician he alone was the equivalent to a thousand mages, Reiner, who realized that Arthur had found a worthy opponent, knew that no one could stop him now not until he and Rean will fight each other, while he decided to let Arthur do whatever he wanted and left Arthur continued towards his room.

In the capital, a new day began, Rean sneaked towards the guild as he covered his face in the hope that he would not be recognized.

"So far so good", Rean opened the door and went inside, While he entered the guild, it was empty of people it looked like the place was deserted, as he made his way towards the reception desk which was also empty he got scared when suddenly a man popped up out of nowhere and got punched by Rean who was surprised from the entrance out of nowhere of the guy.

"Ouch, what the hell kid?", the man was holding his nose.

"Don't blame me who in his clear mind jumps on someone like that", Rean was extending his hand to help a man who had fallen to the floor, "So who exactly are you?", Rean asked the man.

"Oh, I'm Raymond Terry's assistant", he held Rean's hand and stood on his feet, "Terry, told me you were due to arrive soon so I made sure there would be no one at the guild today except for the people invited by her", he said while his nose was bleeding which made Rean feel guilty, "Except for someone who is supposed to meet with us on the way you are the last one who is supposed to arrive today everyone is already waiting for you in her office".

Raymond and Rean made their way to Terry's office, and when they entered there five people were waiting for them, and between them sat Terry, the guild manager, who opened her eyes when they entered.

"You finally came, Sakamoto's child", Terry was a mage who is considered a legend, and like Rean, she also had two types of magic, only her aura would make the enemy scared, and she was very popular among the children and students and they wanted to be as successful and loved as she was when they would grow up.

Rean could feel the tension in the air everyone in the room was serious it felt like there was something else going on behind the scenes, "what's going on?", he asked.

One of the five other people in the room approached Rean, "So you're the kid everyone's talking about? good to meet you", the black haired man extend his hand to Rean for a greeting, "my name is Bill, if you need anything just ask."

The big man may seem cold and cruel but he had a huge heart and was very caring something that made Rean feel comfortable in a room full of powerful magicians, little by little every other magician introduced himself to Rean, and the name of the four other magicians was: Sam, Amy, Paul, and Mary.

The atmosphere in the room calmed down as now the six magicians were talking among themselves and getting closer to each other, Even Terry admitted that Rean's ability to calm the atmosphere in the room and connect with people he didn't know was impressive, but the time to get to know each other is over and it's time to talk about the reason they came here today, She began to clap and made everyone stop talking and look at her.

"I'm very happy that you're getting along with each other, but let's not forget why we gathered here", She stood and threw two pictures on the table and in front of the people in the room, in the first picture Vlad appeared and in the second picture appeared his daughter Vanessa and her future husband Blake, "I don't need to elaborate about them, right?", she looked at everyone at the room for approval to continue and as soon as she received it she continued, "At the moment you are six but when you get there you will meet your seventh group member, he does have to go through here so that he and I can talk about other matters and also about the mission, But in any case, when you all get there, you will need to be divided into pairs and each pair will keep a different person from the three, the seventh person who will not be divided will help the security guards guard the area", Terry continued to tell them about the people who would come there and that they could split up how they see right.

After a while, everyone left the room and went to get ready for the trip to the place where the wedding would take place, well everyone except Rean that Terry asked him to stay here with her assistant Raymond and her to talk about something else that raised.

"Rean just so you know when you get there there will be people who will treat you like the devil", Terry looked at him and noticed that he didn't understand how it differed from the situation before and continued, "Listen a moment I heard rumors that Baron Guy is recruiting nobles to make you forgotten and this party will be his chance to meet with many nobles at the same time."

Rean already knew that the people of the higher classes hated him but he didn't expect them to act so quickly, "ah", he began to laugh as he put his right hand on his face, "They don't waste time I don't want to become a nobleman at all too bad they didn't ask me I would let them know".

Terry was a bit overwhelmed even though Rean was already 18 years old, she did not expect such a level of maturity and she let him go so he could go get ready for the departure at noon, when Rean left Terry and Raymond talked to each other, "The child has potential", Raymond said while looking at Rean from the window, "Yes I know but his real test will start now, especially that now everyone knows about his light magic," she seemed worried, "and if what Leon told me is true, then the demons also know about his existence."
