The next morning you were allowed to leave with your friends. Kairi had decided that she wanted to stay with Noctis so after a long goodbye, where she cried into your shirt some more, it was time to load up and leave. There were two ship's taking everyone one, one was Cid's and the other belonged to Noctis.

Everyone's belongings were packed and ready to leave. You searched the crowd of your friends looking for [BOC], but the moment you caught sight if him Yuffie grabbed you and dragged you away.

"Boys in Cid's ship and girls on this ship!" She sang and skipped over to the opposite ship with you in her arms. You sighed, but agreed because now you'd get to catch up with everyone else too.

Lauren, you, Yuffie, Xion, KK, Yuna, Tifa, and Paine sat down as the ship began to lift off the ground.

"So tell her the news Lauren!" Yuffie cheered. Lauren blushed and lifted her left hand for you to see. On her ring finger was a silver ring with a gorgeous diamond sitting on top. Your eyes widened at the sight of it.

"You're getting married!? When?? I didn't see that on your hand yesterday!" You cried out.

"I left in my purse yesterday. I didn't feel comfortable wearing it around main street of Sector 1." She admitted, "We wanna have our wedding on the first day of spring."

"That's March 20 by the way." Xion added for you. "Only a few weeks away."

"Yes and I was wondering if you'd be one of my bridesmaids [Name]?" Lauren asked with a smile.

You were happy for Lauren. She truly did love Big C, but at the same time you couldn't help but feel a pang in your chest for Hanna. How would she feel about this? Would she watch it from heaven or choose to turn away? As you thought a small smile graced your lips. You knew that Hanna wouldn't miss watching this wedding for the world. Just like you knew if she were here right now she'd be happy for them both.

"I'd love to be one Lauren." You grinned.

"I'm a moron..." You groaned as you sat around a table with Tifa, Yuffie, and Lauren's older sister Taylor. Taylor looked almost identical to her sister except Taylor wasn't as tan.

"Don't worry were almost done." Taylor chirped. She was also just as happy-go-lucky as Lauren was. The four of you were her bridesmaids and you all were currently placing orders for all the flowers and materials needed.

"I'm never getting married. It's too much work." You groaned again as you filled in another order form.

"I know a certain guy who wouldn't be happy to hear that." Yuffie sang happily. A bright blush painted your cheeks.

You had been home for a month and the wedding was in a week. When you weren't at school or doing homework you were helping plan the wedding. The only social activity you'd done was at school when you saw your friends.

"I'm so excited to see our dresses though!" Tifa gushed. Lauren had picked them out herself as a surprise. Taylor said not to worry though because Lauren had excellent taste. Which you couldn't argue with, you've seen how she dresses before.

Someone knocked on the door, but before you could stand to open it Lauren and Namine walked in. In their hands were black dress bags.

"Are those our dresses?" Yuffie asked jumping up.

"Yeah we just picked them up." Namine replied. She wasn't a bridesmaid but she offered to help. Namine, and her baby, were doing perfectly fine. Gabe had healed completely as well.

Everyone rushed for the dresses to try them on. Namine brought you yours and as you unzipped the bag and saw the dress you smiled.

There was a chill in the air but it was comfortable. The smell of tulips, roses, and orchids filled the air to create a gorgeous scent. It was March 20th, the big day. The wedding was being held outdoors in the outskirts of Hollow Bastion where there was a large, meadow field. You were skeptical at first of Lauren's choice of placing, but now that you see it will all the decorations you were glad she chose it.

A kind of canopy was built over where the alter stood and where everyone was seated. The seats were decorated with the flowers and colors of silver and light blue with some accents of white. Everyone was beginning to sit down and get settled. You peeked out from the little tent where Lauren, you, Yuffie, Tifa, and Taylor got ready to check on everything. You could see Big C standing at the altar with the pastor in a black tuxedo and light blue bow tie. He had three best men. The one closet to him was Gabe in a similar suit. Beside Gabe was Jack, and then Sam. You wanted to see [BOC] but couldn't in the crowd of people. The music began to play and you ducked your head back into the tent for final looks.

Lauren was wearing a strapless dress that was tight around her torso then flowed out at the waist. Her hair was done up in a bun with curly strands hanging down around her. You picked up her light blue and silver bouquet of flowers and handed it to her. You had been voted the first one to walk out.

You glanced at yourself in the mirror one last time. You hair was [however you want your hair to be as long as it's done fancy like]. The dress you were was the same light blue as the decorations but at the very end of your dress the color faded into a silver. It was strapless and flowed out above your knees. Around your waist was a loosely tied silver bow. You gulped and gave Lauren one last smile before you followed your cue and walked out of the tent. You kept your eyes forward and began to count so you knew exactly how fast to go. Big C straightened up and smiled in excitement. He caught your eye and gave you a reassuring wink. You glanced to the side. Sam smiled, Jack gave you a thumb up, and Gabe mouthed . You rolled your eyes and breathe a sigh of relief as you reached the end where you were supposed to stand. You would be the furthest from Lauren. You smiled and watched as Yuffie began to walk out next. You glanced into the crowd one time and saw him staring at you with a smile on his face. [BOC] nodded his head and you felt butterflies float in your belly.

Lastly, after Tifa and Taylor walked out, Lauren began to walk down the aisle. Her father met up with her halfway to walk her. Her face was smiling brightly. You looked over at Big C and a warm feeling washed over you. The way he looked at her was so loving. To explain the look on his face would take words upon words. Most people always watch the bride, but you would now suggest to watch the groom instead. Watch how his face erupts in joy at the sight of his soon to be wife.

Lauren kissed her father and stood beside Big C. As you watched her father sit down beside her mother a sharp pain hit you in the heart.

You thought silently. Would you ever get to see your mother cry at your wedding?

You quickly shoved those thoughts away and watched as the ceremony began.

"Do you Cody Tolbert take this lovely woman to be your bride?" The pastor asked after going through all of the first part of the ceremony.
