The Confrontations- part three

 "What's going on here?", Courtney asked as she stares at both girls who were putting on their combat armor.

"My princess what brings you here", Stella asked as she slightly bows.

"I came to get changed for the practice match. It's really odd seeing Bella here and she's not causing trouble", Courtney added with the feeling that something was off.

"What's that supposed to mean Courtney?", Bella asked.

"I'm glad to see you didn't embarrass yourself in front of an outsider", Courtney replied.

"Watch your tongue Courtney", Bella warned. 

"I wonder what my brother saw in you that made him stay with someone like you".

"I'll cut off those wings you've grown".

"My princess there's no need to show unnecessary emotions", Stella said as the door opens and a maid walks in.

"My princess the king requests your presence immediately", the maid said with her head down."I'll take my leave now. Stella please come to my room later in the evening", Courtney said as she walks out of the room with the maid.

Seconds after Courtney leaves with the maid, there's a bright flash.The light dims down and Stella is still on the floor bleeding with Bella still beside her.

"What did you do? How did she not see us?, Bella asked as she moves away from Stella trembling in fear.

"Now that you've seen what i can do I'm sure you won't get my way right,", Stella asked as she gets up from the floor with the icicle still penetrating through her stomach.

"How are you able to move?", Bella asked.

"Don't forget that you have to be a good girl. Any mistake you make will be rewarded with a punishment and trust me when i say today's punishment will be far worse than the others".

"How can you do this to me?"

"Always remember that i can have you thrown out of the palace anytime I want. Your title holds no significance or importance anymore so behave yourself and know your place", Stella said as she opens the door and walks out with the door closing behind her.

Bella breaths quickened as Stella left the room. She had never met any girl so terrifying. Stella was a force not to be reckoned with. Whatever she was planning she must not get in Stella's way or she will be toast. She then looks towards the floor and has a confused expression on her face. She remembers Stella left a pool of blood on the floor but now there was nothing there. The floor was clean and spotless. She began to wonder how the blood disappeared. Stella still had the icicle in her when she left the room. She then looks towards the door- there was no blood trail either. How was she bleeding so badly and she left no blood trail behind? Whoever Stella was she must not mess with her. She looks heavenward and hopes Stella doesn't become an obstacle in the future

There's a first time for everything

At Greendia in the palace throne room. Jack and Lucy are seen sitting on their respective thrones and Jordan can be seen in front of them.

"Have you heard from the kids?" Lucy asked.

"Not yet my queen. They should be in Red Ville right now if the mission was a success", Jordan said.

"When are we expecting to hear from them?" Jack asked.

"I will ask their master about that. Right now we have Intel that some beasts have been attacking the cities and stealing food and their jewels and money", Jordan said.

"What kind of beasts exactly?" Jack asked

"The kind that Stella and Ryan killed the day the activated their powers", Jordan replied.

"Get the old man to take a look into this and then figure out the best thing to do. Send reinforcements to the people and also food and money. If anyone was injured make sure they are taken for treatment right away. Tell Lydia that all charges are on me and make sure to double the security of the kingdom okay", Jack said.

"I will do just that my king", Jordan said as he bows and then walks out the room.

"Something doesn't seem right with all this", Lucy said.

"What exactly?" Jack asked.

"Everything", she replied.

"Let's just hope for our sakes and that of our kids you are wrong this time", Jack said.

"Sure", she said giving a worried look.

Back at Red Ville, the king tells five guards to escort Nora and Clark to the place where Max and Kara are working on the secret weapon. The guards put on blindfolds for Nora and Clark. After some minutes of walking they finally stop.

"We are here!"

Nora and Clark immediately remove their blindfolds and then they find themselves in a room filled with different lab equipment. It's so beautiful and organised.

"Hey Max the king said we should bring them here, a guard said expecting a response but none is given. Well we are taking our leave. Have fun", he said as he and the other four leave the room.

"What are we supposed to do?" Clark asked as they both look totally confused.

Suddenly a girl and a boy of the same age with them walks into the room and towards them.

The boy who has jet black and it's done in an undercut with curls. His black crystal eyes that have a glittering feature. He has low cheek bones, round face, full lips and the physique of a model. He's wearing a white long sleeved shirt on black trousers and black combat boots. A signet ring is seen on his right ring finger. He stares at Nora and Clark and then gives the girl a body signal.

The girl, a pretty young lady who has her strawberry blonde hair packed in a ponytail which syncs with her beautiful marine green eyes. She also has a round face, rosy pink thin lips, average height and little bosom. She is wearing a white one shouldered long sleeve high slit dress with gold sandals. She is also wearing gold dangle earrings and long silver cuffs around both her wrists.

"What are you two doing here, the boy asked"?

"I know you aren't deaf and you heard what the guard said so stop asking stupid questions. It only makes you look more stupid", Nora said with a nasty look.

"Hi am Kara and he is Maxwell. It's nice to meet you", the girl said in a friendly manner.

"Hi am Clark and this is my sister Nora", Clark said trying to be friendly.

"Well now that we're done with the introductions, let's get down to business. The king said we should help you out on a particular project you're working on. My brother and I don't want trouble. We just want to do our work well and keep living a better life", Nora said as Max turns to Kara.

"Max?"

"I can't work with someone as narrow minded as them. They are only interested in enjoying things from the palace. They are just a bunch of beggars who found a good life here and don't want it to end", Max said in a really rude tone.

"I'm really sorry that we want a life better than living in the outer lands, fending for ourselves as orphans and being chased by beasts. You wouldn't know what that's like because you have everything you want at your comfort. And before you start judging and casting us, how about you do a quick check so you realize you are also feeding off the king. You know it's really funny; a thief calling another thief a thief", Nora said with a huge grin on her face.

"How about we talk about what you two will be doing here?" Kara suggested.

"Go and get me a drink", Max said looking at Nora.

"I know you aren't talking to me", Nora said.

"I'll go get it for you", Clark said as he's about to turn around.

Clark you walk out of this room and I cease to be your sister", Nora said in a threatening tone and immediately Clark stops in his tracks and doesn't move.

"Who do you think you are?" Max asked.

"I'm someone who puts self-absorbed people like you in their places. Just because we are peasant doesn't mean you can order us around like servants. If you don't give us the respect we deserve the easy way then I'm guessing we have to do this the hard way", Nora said as she sighs.

"Nora?"

"Our darling elder sister just got a chance to become the queen of this kingdom and you of all people should know prince Henry's coronation is really close by and allow me to let you in on a little secret- there's no way in hell my sister's losing that little competition and imagine what she can do to you when she's queen. But why go that far? We can just ask her to talk to Henry and judging by the look on your face you aren't really a big fan of Henry's so that means you'd avoid having any issue with him right, Nora asked with a smile. But we didn't come here to argue with you, we came to assist and learn so let's do that already", she said.

"Umm you can wait for us over there", Kara said pointing to a particular inner room.

"Sure. Let's go Clark", Nora said as she and Clark walk towards the inner room and they enter inside the room.

"She got you big time", Kara said.

"No one has ever stood up to me", Max said looking surprised and upset at the same time.

"Just admit she's right and take it easy on her", Kara said.

"Sure", Max said as he looks at Nora.

In AJ's private study, Ryan is seen sitting on a sofa beside AJ.

"So what do you think I should do for the upcoming competition, AJ asked".

"I have no idea my prince. What do you think is the right thing for you to do", Ryan asked as the doors open and Emma walks in. She closes the door and then heads straight for AJ.

"Good day my prince. Am so sorry am late", Emma said.

"What do you think this place is this? This isn't some hotel or relatives house that you go to and you behave anyhow you want okay", AJ said.

"Yes my prince", Emma said and then afterwards she starts to laugh uncontrollably which leaves Ryan totally confused.

Ryan looks at AJ and sees him laughing too with Emma. He doesn't understand what's going on. A million thoughts run through his head- what if they figured out his plan and they wanted to take him out? Or maybe they were sent by someone who was after his head? Whatever the case was, he wasn't going to risk it. If they attack first then he strikes back and makes sure they do not leave that room alive.

Emma and AJ turn towards Ryan who's so lost in his thoughts and they wonder if they had taken their game way too far.

"Ryan are you okay, AJ asked?"

Ryan gets back from his brainstorming and then assesses the room. He sees that both Emma and AJ are looking at him confusedly.

"What's going on, he asked?"

"I should be asking you that. You just zoned out and we were trying to get you back", AJ said.

"Am really sorry about that my prince", Ryan said.

"There's no need to worry about that. By the way this is my closest friend and her name is Emma", AJ said.

"Nice to meet you Emma", Ryan said with a polite and charming smile which makes Emma blush.

"It's nice to meet you too", Emma replied still blushing.

"Emma your head's growing a little bit out of proportion", AJ whispered.

"Yeah sure… wait my head's big", Emma exclaimed so loudly.

AJ starts to laugh out real hard while Ryan chuckles gently. Emma looks at AJ and realised that he was pulling one over her again. She fumes and then gives AJ a death glare which stops Ryan from chuckling any further. She seeing she had gotten some power over Ryan began to feel really confident and powerful. She smiles at AJ and then turns her back at him.

"I like him", she said still smiling.

"Of course you do. Anyways I'm going to meet dad with Henry later today wish me luck", AJ said.

"Good luck AJ you're really going to need it", she said.

"I'll tell how it goes", AJ said.

"I'll be waiting", she said.

"Let's go Ryan", AJ said as they head for the door.

"It was nice meeting you my lady", Ryan said as they walk out leaving Emma behind.

"The feeling's mutual", she said with a smile.
