In the throne room henry and the King of Red Ville are seen standing waiting for someone. The King stands with his back facing henry who was behind him. They were both looking impatient, especially henry. They had been waiting for fifteen minutes and he had still not shown up.
"Can you begin without the second prince father?" henry asked as the large mahogany door opens and AJ walks in with Ryan.
"I'm so sorry father for keeping you waiting", AJ said as he bows and Ryan does the same.
"What kept you for so long?" his father asked.
"My visit to my study had some rather unexpected events", AJ replied.
"Don't forget that you are still a prince of this kingdom", his father said as AJ raises his head.
"I will not father", AJ said with as he turns towards Ryan and smiles at him.
Ryan raises his head and stares at AJ. He was surprised by AJ reply to his father's question. He had never seen someone lie with so much innocence and composure. Well Stella is a god at lying, he still couldn't tell truth from lies when it comes to her. Even though she was good, AJ was on a whole different level. If he hadn't been with him, he would have believed that his meeting with Emma took his time. Truth is that they would have made it on time but AJ wanted to keep his father waiting and then after that he decided to go play with the maid's new born just to kill more time. Sometimes it's really hard to believe that he's actually a prince.
"I'm guessing you both know why I summoned you here", their father said as Ryan snaps out of his thoughts.
"You want to know our partners for the upcoming competition", Henry replied.
"So who are your partners?" their father asked not wanting to waste any time being indirect.
"I'll be teaming up with the son of the head knight, Gabriel", Henry replied with a grin on his face.
"What about you AJ?"
"I'll be teaming up with my personal attendant", AJ replied.
"You're teaming up with a peasant who barely survived the outlands? Did you forget what this competition is about?" his father asked as he turns to face AJ with anger in his eyes.
"I don't necessarily need to win this competition. All I need to do is just challenge the crowned prince on his coronation day and prove he's not worthy of the throne", AJ replied with a rather serious look on his face.
"Is that another way of saying you'll let Henry win this so you can embarrass him even worse later on?" his father asked.
"I'm glad you understand me father", AJ replied with a smile.
"Just because you went through some training for six months you think you can just defeat me that easily?" Henry asked.
"Well you were never really much of a challenge. I didn't just take you seriously all these while that's the only reason you're still on top".
"How dare you belittle me?"
"Can I take my leave now father? I don't like where this conversation is going".
"Don't forget that if you fail this time I can't save you again", his father said as he turns back to the position he was in before.
"I will be forever grateful to you father for helping me out but I won't be needing your help anymore. I can take care of my older brother myself".
"If that's what you want I'll respect your wishes", his father said as he bows.
"I'll be taking my leave your majesty", AJ said as he walks out of the room with Ryan leaving Henry and his father behind.
"Isn't that kid something else?" his father asked with a smile.
"If his majesty does not mind I'll like to ask what he is planning".
"What are you talking about crowned prince?"
"Why are you acting like his biggest supporter when you are his worst enemy?"
"Have you heard of the saying that everyone has their destiny?"
"Yes I have father. You tell me that every time", Henry rolls his eyes.
"Yes that's true, his father laughed. So son what is your destiny?" he smiled as he faces Henry.
"My destiny is to become the King of this kingdom after you step down".
"Well you're partially correct my son. Your real destiny is to conquer Greendia, his father smiled as he walks towards him. What do you think Alek destiny is?"
"To be my right hand man in taking over Greendia".
"You sound like a fool son. Alek's destiny is much greater than just being your right hand man. His destiny is to be a sacrifice. He is the real secret weapon for this war".
"What are you talking about father?" Henry asked as he was starting to getting terrified with the look on his father's face.
"The children of King Jack have gone on some kind of special training to master their powers. Imagine what will happen if they succeed in mastering their power. We won't stand a chance against the four of them".
"How does that have anything to do with Alek?"
"He's going to sacrifice hos life to kill them. That way we kill two birds with one stone. You can take the throne with no one to oppose you and we conquer Greendia", his father smiled like he had won a lottery.
"What if he figures out our plan?"
"Well then we just have to get rid of him, his father smiled. It would be a shame though. He has a lot of potential like his father".
"I'll do my best to win the competition".
"I know you will".
Outside of the throne room, Ryan was standing at the other side of the wall listening in on the conversation between Henry and the King. He had ditched AJ so he could figure out when the secret weapon would be ready for testing but now je had stumbled on something even better. According to what he just overheard, there was an insider in Greendia who had been giving information to Red Ville. He had to send a message to his parents to warn them. Then he also figured out that the King of Red Ville had been playing them this whole time. If AJ was truly like them what were they intending to do with him. How is he going to kill the fair of them when there is just one of him? Is there really a secret weapon or is it all made up? Different thoughts run through his mind. He couldn't figure what was going on with all he information he had just obtained. Whatever the situation may be they had to change their plans now. Their main focus from now will be AJ. He would also have Clark and Nora find out things about the secret weapon. Whatever happens they must not fail as the fate of Greendia rests in their hands.
"This is too much work for a kid to handle", he sighed as he walks down the corridor.
