"This year we will be holding an event purely for the amusement of other students," Dumbledore announced with a twinkle in his eyes, "All the seventh years will participate without argument or you will fail all your classes automatically, and yes I can do that."

Several groans were heard from the older kids who were being forced to participate while sixth years and younger looked excited and began whispering with each other.

"An Easter Egg Hunt will be held. The seventh years will be grouped into twos. The winners will revive 1000 house points for their houses and ten thousand galleons each. You and your partner will have one hour to collect as many eggs as you can. There are standard eggs, trick eggs, and even a few to add a little spice to things. Cameras have been set up all around  Professor McGonagall will now tell you the different eggs. Pay attention because you will only be told once." Dumbledore smiled sitting down as McGonagall rose.

"There's nine standard colored eggs. The golden eggs are worth 100 points. Silver is worth fifty, Bronze is worth twenty, pink and yellow are fifteen, green is ten, blue is five, purple is three, and white is negative five. There are three different trick eggs. Striped eggs will trap you in a circle for awhile and all time lengths are different. Spotted eggs will steal half of the eggs you have and hide them again, and checkered eggs will work as portkey and take you back to start when you walk within two feet of them." McGonagall smiled, "There are also blended eggs if the house colors. If you and your partner walk past one of these eggs that had both your house colors in a marble pattern on it, you will be stuck in a circle until you and your partner share a kiss no matter what gender. Even after the game ends you will be stuck together until you kiss."

McGonagall smirked at the groans and protests and sat down as Dumbledore rose back up.

"Now this will be held at The Burrow also known as The Weasley's house. Because of this we can't have any advantages over navigation and any hiding spots courtesy of Fred and George Weasley. So will The Weasley's, Mr. Potter, and Ms. Grang- uh Zabini please come up. You will take a potion that will temporarily erase your memory of the structure. It will return after the game," Dumbledore instructed.

The four students stood up, disappointed that they didn't have an advantage and walked to the front. They drank the green potion, grimacing at the awful taste before all four dropped to the ground.

"A mere side effect," Dumbledore smiled right as Harry, Ron, and Ginny shot up and grabbed their heads before returning to normal.

"Why isn't Hermione up?" Harry asked as the entire school watched the body of Hermione lying still.

Blaise Zabini, however stood up and walked forward. He drew his wand and pointed it at Hermione before saying a special spell causing her to shoot up.

"If any Zabini passes out or anything, the only way they wake is if another uses that spell," Blaise explained before returning to his seat while the Gryffindors went to theirs.

"We will begin in ten minutes. No magic. Your wands will be confiscated before hand and wandless magic is not allowed" Dumbledore said looking at Hermione who groaned at losing her only advantage, "Now the pairs will appear in the air. Find your partner and make your way to the courtyard where a portkey will take you to the Burrow."

He swiped his wand and the pairs shot into the sky.

"Please go now," Dumbledore smiled as the seventh years rose with a sigh.

"Draco Malfoy. I'm stuck with Draco bloody Malfoy," Hermione sighed as she, Harry, and Ron left.

"Its not that bad," Harry smiled.

"You have a Ronald, Harry. I have a ferret," Hermione argued.

"Hey Mione!"

"Blaise," Hermione smiled before scowling, "Malfoy."

"Gra- Zabini," Malfoy said switching under Blaise's stern glare.

Hermione rolled her eyes and linked arms with Blaise as they walked.

"If he tries anything I'll kill him on the spot, don't worry. Big Brothers here," Blaise grinned to her.

"You're only two minutes older," Hermione huffed.

"Still older so I can still protect you from all the evil boys," Blaise smiled.

"Love you too, Blaise," Draco said sarcastically.

"I know you do, but if you lay a finger or insult on her I will rip out your throat very slowly," Blaise smiled with a cheery voice.

"You scare me," Ron said.

"It was meant to scare him," Blaise skad pointing to Draco.

"I've been 'hugged' by Voldemort, Blaise. I don't think anything can scare me," Draco said.

Hermione, Harry, and Ron caught each others eye before the three burst out laughing.

"That was hilarious," Ron laughed.

"I didn't get to see it," Harry huffed slightly folding his arms.

"Don't worry Harry," Hermione grinned, "I have a penisieve. Ron can give you the memory."

"And we're here," Blaise sighed, 'Good luck sis. Don't kill him if he does anything. I want to do that," he said kissing her forehead before heading off to Pansy.

"See you later, boys," Hermione smiled before joining Draco at their portkey.

When they she reached it they touched the portkey and were transported away.

"Look, I don't want any problems so can we just not talk?" Hermione asked as they stood in their spot.

"Sure," Draco shrugged grabbing the bag that appeared in mid air.

"Extendable charm?" Hermione asked seeing him place his entire arm in the bag.

"Seems so," Draco shrugged before smirking, "What happened to not talking?"

"Well I was just asking-" Hermione started but stopped to glare when he put a finger to her lips.

"No, no talking. We must comply to your desperate wishes," he smirked.

Hermione folded her arms after swatting away his hand.

"The hunt begins in three.... Two.... One?" Molly yelled out before taking down the barrier to let the kids go out into the large plot of land.

"Where to?" Hermione asked.

"Don't care," Draco shrugged as he set off walking.

Hermione groaned and followed quickly. They walked around the yard grabbing am egg anytime they saw one.

"Ew, nope no," Draco said suddenly swiveling around and covering his eyes.

"What is it?" Hermione asked looking up at him.

"Take a look if you want," Draco said sighing while removing his hand from his eyes.

Hermione looked around his body to see Harry and Ron in a lip lock with a dark and light red swirled egg next to them.

"No!" Hermione said immediately looking away, "Nope. I didn't need to see that. That's stuck in my brain!"

Draco laughed at her outburst while she furiously rubbed her eyes trying to get rid of the image.

"I didn't know they were... That," Hermione sighed.

"Lots of people are," Draco said.

"I know I just didn't expect them to," Hermione said catiusly looking over again only to whip her head back.

Draco raised an eyebrow and looked over his shoulder to find Harry shoved up against a tree.

"Let's go," he said grabbing her hand and running off with her, both laughing.

"Well that was something," Luna commented as she and Ginny appeared behind them.

Draco and Hermione whipped around, the smiles still on their faces.

"Hey Gin, Luna," Hermione smiled realizing Draco was still holding her hand and he seemed fully aware of it.

"Smiling and holding hands?" Ginny asked amused.

"We just saw Harry and Ron snogging against a tree and than ran," Hermione shrugged before registering what they said and looking down at her hand, "You can let go, Malfoy."

"Right, sorry," he said blushing.

"Harry and Ron, huh?" Ginny asked smirking at Draco.

He nodded and Luna squealed, "I always knew they'd get together!"

Ginny grinned at her, "Well let's go. There's only a little while longer."

Luna nodded and the girls grabbed each others hand before running off.

"Well Weaslette is right. Five minutes left," Draco said.

"Why'd you hold my hand?" Hermione asked ignoring his statement about the time.

"Uh, what?" He asked.

"You knew you were holding my hand, didn't you?" Hermione asked with a small smirk.

"I-I didn't... I don't know what you are implying," Draco defended his hair turning red.

"Is believe you if you weren't bright red. Talk," Hermione demanded.

"I'm Sirius. I didn't realize I was," Draco said.

"All right, fine," Hermione said as they began walking again, "How many points do we have?"

"I think around a few thousand," Draco said looking into the bag but whipping his head up when Hermione cried out, 'You okay?"

"Not sure why you're asking since you honestly don't care, but I'm fine. There's a barrier of some sort," Hermione said, "I just ran into it."

"The boundaries are over there though," Draco said before realizing, "Oh it must be an egg."

"Oh right. The striped ones trap you. Where is it?"

"Granger," Draco said slowly attempting to swallow the lump in his throat as he stared at the ground.

"What? Is something-- oh no," Hermione said as she looked down.

The two looked at each other with looks of horror on there face. Lying on the ground in between them was a red and green marbled egg.
