After the death of Keisha, Faith was finding it difficult to be productive at work and the disappointment of the principal and other staff was clear. She was not only burdened by her mournful heart but the high school was where her parents’ love story began. A love story she wished she never knew. So, at the end of the semester in December 1997, Faith quit her job at the high school. Keisha had left Faith the rest of the money she saved and Faith also had quite a lot in her savings. The money wouldn’t last her the rest of her five years but she could live on that for a while if she wasn’t a spendthrift. So, Faith decided to leave Cher for a while and where better an escape for a traveler than Nonubi?
