An emergency meeting between the boards of directors of the academy was called. This board of directors consisted of the principal, the heads of the academic and combat department, the school counselor, and lastly the head teacher. The student council president is also a member of the board, but he wasn’t present at the meeting due to the second and third year field missions.
The topic of discussion in the meeting was of course, the strange events that took place in the end trials.
“I believe that serious action is meant to be taken, in other to find the ones responsible for this.” Ms. Laura Beatty, the school counselor said.
“You’re right. This was a bold move on their part; and they wouldn’t have done such if they weren’t so sure of success. The real question is; what was their motive?” Mr. Brian, the head of the academic department, added.
“Mr. Morgan, we need more detailed information about the events of the trials. It would be considered unwise to conduct an investigation with little or no knowledge of the matter at hand.” The principal, Mrs. Diane Kings said to Sylvester.
Sylvester stood up and replied:
“I spoke with the students who regained consciousness, and honestly speaking, they remember next to nothing about their trials. It’s almost as if their memories have been altered and tampered with.”
“The few students that actually remember a few details said that they saw a black portal, before losing consciousness. I ordered the divine healers and the school nurse, to perform a thorough check on the students, and get back to me. I’m yet to get their result.” Sylvester concluded.
The principal was in deep thoughts. They needed to get to the bottom of this quickly; especially now that the world is in danger with the existence of the fallen angels, and the two arch demons.
“We have to bring the students back to consciousness. We can’t have half of the first year students unconscious when they should be training for the battles ahead.” Mrs. Diane finally said.
“Perhaps, there is a way to bring them back.” Mr. Andrew, the head of the combat department suggested.
“The divine healers are already working on that. We just have to give them more time.” Sylvester said.
“We don’t have time. The fallen angels are up to something; and I don’t like it. The hunter’s council has received numerous reports of dark activities going on across the globe. We need to be in our full strength at these trivia moments.” The principal concluded.

With nothing to do, Kelvin decided to visit the weapon shop. He had lost his sword on the fight with the temple guardian, and it was really important that he get a new one. He also remembered his support weapon request with the owner of the weapon smiting cottage.
Kelvin took a quick cab, and arrived at the weapon smiting cottage. He entered the weapon shop, and saw the familiar face of uncle ruckus, the owner of the weapon smiting cottage.
“Good day uncle Ruckus. Do you still remember our appointment?” Kelvin asked, as he approached the shop counter.
“Of course I do kid. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting you to show up, with all that’s been happening. The academy really has a lot on its hands.” Uncle Ruckus replied.
“Anyway, let’s get to business. Just like you requested, I was able to get my hands on the right support weapon for a sword. In fact, it was personally invented by me.”
“Ugh, I’m sorry uncle Ruckus; my request has changed.” Kelvin said.
“Okay, what’s the new request?” Uncle Ruckus asked with a slightly frowned face.
“Well, I kinda lost my sword in the trials, and I was wondering if I could get a new one.” Kelvin replied.
“I have swords. So what kind of sword do you have in mind?”
“I want a light but durable sword; a sword that will be a perfect combo with the support weapon.”
“I think I have the perfect sword kid.” Uncle Ruckus said, as he entered the storage room in search of something. After a while, Uncle Ruckus came back holding a wrapped parcel.
“What’s that?” Kelvin asked.
Ignoring Kelvin’s question, Uncle Ruckus went on and began to unwrap the parcel. When he was done, he revealed the content of the parcel.
Uncle Ruckus pulled out a sword with a very fascinating look. The sword had an eccentric but eye catching blue design on its blade. The hilt was black with a bright blue orb in its center.
Kelvin was amazed by the awesome design of the sword. But he wondered if it was actually durable enough.
“The sword looks great and all, but is it really durable?” Kelvin asked, to which Uncle Ruckus replied:
“Of course it is; what you are looking at is the Urumi energy whip-sword. Trust me when I say its super sturdy.”
“Wait, did you say whip-sword??!”
“Allow me to demonstrate.” Uncle Ruckus said, as he moved towards an old chair by the side.
He grabbed the hilt of the Urumi whip-sword firmly, and using an impelling momentum, he slashed horizontally at the old chair.
Just like the name implies, the blade of the sword broke off into different segments; and this segments were connected together by a bright blue energy, giving it the form of a flexible, whip-like blade.
The whip-like blade slashed the old chair in a clean half, and after that, the whip blade retracted back to a normal sword blade.
Kelvin stood dumbfounded in astonishment and surprise. He instantly fell in love with the sword.
“So, what do you think?” Uncle Ruckus asked.
“It’s awesome; how much for it?!!”
“Well, in terms of normal currency, the sword should cost around 30,000 dollars; but since you are a student of the academy that will be 3000 points. Not counting the support weapon.”
Kelvin’s excited reaction instantly dropped.
“That’s freaking expensive; I don’t have up to that amount!!” Kelvin said.
“Well, I told you that it wasn’t going to be cheap.”
“Please, can’t you bring the price down a little bit?” Kelvin asked.
On hearing Kelvin’s request, Uncle Ruckus burst out in laughter.
“I’m sorry kid. This sword is an exclusive and rare type.” He said, while trying to control his laughter.
“Shit; what do I do now?” Kelvin asked.
“Well, there’s a couple of ways you can pay; it doesn’t necessarily have to be with points.”
“What do you mean?” Kelvin asked Uncle Ruckus.
“I have a special mission request. You help me with my request, and then you get the sword and the support weapon for free. What do you think?”
“I don’t know; it sounds kinda shady. What’s the request?” Kelvin asked.
“The mission is not for the light hearted. So are you sure you have what it takes to do the deed?"
