“Okay, times up. It’s time to die.” Mavros said, as he dashed towards Kelvin with tremendous speed.
The demon was just about to slice Kelvin’s head, when Kelvin quickly reached into one of the opened kitchen cabinets, pulled out a pot and a pan, and without hesitation, he banged the two items together, creating a loud noise.
In his moment of desperate thinking, Kelvin remembered what Iris said:
“Mavros has an absurd hearing, which makes the demon sensitive to sounds.”
Sure, this can be considered a strength in a game of hide and seek, but this strength can easily become a weakness.
Since Mavros was sensitive to sounds, that means that ordinary noises would be too loud, and unbearably painful for the demon. And Kelvin was right.
The banging sound from the pot and pan, instantly disorientated the demon, causing it to shriek in pain, while grabbing it’s ears. Using this perfect opportunity, Kelvin quickly ran, grabbed his sword, and left the kitchen.
